That's not the style I used to read when I was young. The Dan Rosa comics.

I kind of like the art style, but maybe the colors are a little too desaturated. At least the show is trying for a unique look. The only thing I really dislike are the voice actors for the kids, they sound too old.

It was that ONE comic the artist who was never familiar with it, but only knew the cartoons, read.

I really dislike grown people voicing young characters. I was (even) annoyed at Clem's voice in the Walking Dead, too; although that's more appropriate now considering. Not many kids/youth bother to learn the DUCK-accent these days, for apparent reasons, perhaps.

looks surprisingly ok, but yes the voices of huey, dewey, and louie sound not good. hope they make a german (better) synchro fast. its my childhood so im used to refer to them as tick, trick and track and not huey, dewey and louie at all Wink means i read and watched everything duck tales, and uhm i dont even know the englisch name of the comic books, in germany it was "lustiges taschenbuch", in german. it will be always dagobert duck and entenhausen, not scrooge mcduck and duckburg Razz

‘DuckTales’ is back. Yes, ‘DuckTales.’ Woo-oo.

Quote:
Disney’s most famous duck family is preparing for a highly anticipated comeback.

The animated series “DuckTales” ran from 1987 to 1990, starring Scrooge McDuck and his young triplet nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie; Mrs. Beakley and her granddaughter Webby Vanderquack; and flight plan-challenged pilot Launchpad McQuack. It now returns in an all new animated series debuting Aug. 12 on Disney grinhurt.

A cartoon series based on the artstyle and stories of Don Rosa.. Now that would be the dream..
But we get the grinhurt version with a modern style and probably "modern" humor ( constantly over-the-top, desperately trying to be funny ) Sad
I'm such a sucker for Uncle Scrooge though, I'll probably end up watching some of it.
