We are happy to announce the release of National Window Flags DLC for ETS2. The package features hundreds of national flags, so pretty much everybody on the planet should be able to find their own. This type of decoration is not something for everyday use, but it may be quite handy during special days, like national holidays or major sports events.
To promote our recently improved external contracts on World of Trucks, we are offering you a time-limited chance to earn an activation key for this new DLC without having to pay a single cent. Here is the deal:
Between today June 8th and June 15th 2016 midnight CET, deliver three (3) World of Trucks contracts in Euro Truck Simulator. To avoid cheating with extremely trivial jobs, each contract must be over a minimum distance of 200 km (125 miles) (segments on a ferry are not counted!).

I can only imagine they've raked in some cash on this vanilla+dlc. I'm hoping for a third game with better graphics, but I'm assuming this is a relatively small team and that they don't want to abandon ETS2 just yet because it is still selling copies.
I bought ATS in the winter sale and i've found that is a more polished game then ETS 2 (still have to grab that Vive La France expansion for ETS2). When i want to relax, i fire either ETS2 or ATS and have a bit of mindless fun.
For an indie niche game to get this kind of sales, i'd say that it did good. And both games can be further developed. So, I can understand why they are still supporting ETS2.
Proper indies do get serious sales, Stardew Valley being another fine example.
they said many times that they will support ets2 for 4-5 years more i think and the plan is to make ats whole; promods pretty much is enough for new content in ets2 imo
MP in ets2 was bollox last time I looked, had to use some fandangled connecting to some shit and then everyone would knock you the fuck off the road because there was no punishment for doing so.
its a nice vision but is it reality for the game, one guy comes into there and starts ramming the fuck out of everyone for laughs.. If that cant happen no more then thats great otherwise as I said before where is this wonderous multiplayer shit going on?

Collision is turned off at loading docks (you can see it like some sort of safe zone)
The second you drive out of the compound its another story lol
But my experience is that there are no shit kids playing this game and everybody tries to avoid each other because you'll damage your truck and the goods as well.
