let's say:
everything that's done by humen, can be scewed by humen!
well, i don't think SF is made by some Aliens in deep-deep universe.

No, but think about it this way. These people get paid to create ever changing protection methods with the view to make them time consuming to crack. The release groups on the other hand do it for nothing.
The people at SF have played the game very well. As most games companies are looking to make the biggest profits from the release dates, any delays to a cracked version will generate more sales.
They never intent their product to be uncrackable, but in a battle of people against people, those who get paid might just be winning the war.

It is crackable for sure as everything is crackable BUT to reverse and build a proper exe you need to much time to have fun with and like Duck said the stuff you can do generic ways (VM) change often enough to prevent a time save.
Sometimes a game seems to be worth getting cracked for a cracker because he want to play it himself and then he does it.
Sometimes a game is called the hardest protected ever (Obscure - RLD did it kinda 1 year after retail, TOCA 2 - kinda 1 year after latest patch, BOS - maybe RLD will do that too just to show publishers its doable so dont feel save with sf3 )
Sometimes a game is less hard protected and can be done within a month when ur able to invest 3 or 4 h per day)
...
To be continued
The question is just:
Is the game worth the time you need to create a proper "fixed" exe and in most cases it isnt because PS2, XBOX the same game comes too and isnt protected at all.
If Starforce is clever they create something for X360 to save future markets beside their awesome Safe'n'Sec project which is a very nice tool i bought my self. Also as Starforce people somehow are all ex scene crackers (some of them realy elite in their times) they would find a new competition then as i think the actual amount of cracks doesnt even start them thinking.
Its like 1 "difficult" game per year and companies like Macrovision have invented stuff that take less resources, have less speedloose, dont need that much blacklisting like sf3 needs (vmware ...), dont need ring0 drivers (which maybe over for new windows anyway but they arent the risk ppl claim as windows has more bugs then the hole sf3 opens during cd check for a short moment) so companies might start thinking something like:
"hey sf3 gets so bad "rumors" and safedisc has features to make it fast unbeatable too and there is noone that complains about it (sims2, easports 2006, black & white 2) that the game is protected so why not take it in the same way Sega and EA uses it."
Thats the only risk in my eyes starforce needs to think about it today with only RLD doing a sf3 crack from time to time.

I know this is somehow offtopic, but what about the NFS Most Wanted 1.3 NoCD crack that is floating around? Is it a demo exe? Is it using a loader? NFSMW is SD4.6+API 2.0, right? Thing is this crack works.

buying their software is not a way to support them developing starforce... they get enought money from ubisoft and codemaster alone to live for the next decades.
if they develop something good i don't see the reason not to buy it

Its a proper nocd loader for sd4.6, apis system used or not - does not matter, it just skips the cdcheck, its very same thing which started rld<>hlm war.

Sorry had troubles to get the exe but its a plain loader that bypasses the cd check and delivers the keys to sd needed to decrypt api shits. Its a known way to "crack" sd since Sims2 from Money as thats the first game where a loader was used as crack which later got copied by hoodlum for some releases and afterwards deviance used on their cricket 2005 release from EA.
Im not sure if it should be called a proper crack and as its a loader the cd check will soon change again like it did after money, hoodlum and deviance loaders in the past.
In main content it hooks some apis and copies the keys in the right places so that safedisc gets the proper keys from the memory/cd like if original game would be in drive. Nice coding tho and for the actual type of cdcheck it can be sued for all games that dont have crcs on the exe itself.

Exactly, soon all software will be stored on remote servers and require a monthly fee (or at least ad support). Even operating systems. Microsoft has already created an online version of Office.

That's hardly free is it? You still have to download the game then break the T+Cs by connecting to a basically illegal server.
Free says free to acquire and use, whcih isn't really the case without breaking a few rules.
