Yes it did, back at launch I was running it on the r9 and was still great, at least for me.

WTF Laughing

Back when we played you complained about bad performance with your AMD card.
Meanwhile me with my 970 was running at 60fps most of the time even at release.

But nvidia is great, right? That's why it does so well in DX12 and pulls shit like gtx 970. Twisted Evil

But even with those fuckups Nvidia (sadly) still performs better in many more games than AMD. Cool Face
But let's do a Nvidia/AMD discussion here. For that we have this thread.

They also pay a lot of money to developers/publishers to perform better in those games and offer the worst customer service (legacy cards). I really don't want to get in this AMD vs Nvidia discussion, I was just pointing out, that the green team ain't that great. I'm hoping AMD is going to rise up again with the new gpus and cpus, competition is good for us, the consumers.

An R9 what? Apples, Oranges? Could be a FURY, 270x or 390 for all we know. Deus Ex MD runs better on higher settings than Division does for me. It's not really that well optimized, it got better, sure, but it's far away from a good port.

Also depends on screen resolution, at 2560x1440 which I'm using there's no way to max the settings and retain playable performance but this game is fairly scalable which is also important and allows the user to fine tune performance and image quality balance. Smile
(It still stutters whenever you enter the HQ though and especially the lower part where other players are now constantly running around.)

EDIT: I do use max setting for screenshots though including a couple of hidden ones that you probably shouldn't touch so yeah the game can get very choppy in the busier areas of the city due to that. Very Happy

I thought Division ran fine - and it was definitely not a failure for the ~100 hours I enjoyed it.

Not exactly a milestone or anything, but putting it on this list is bullshit.

At the end of beta it still had a lot of problems and seeing what people commented at release they were still in there. Probably not as bad as others but I'd still put it on the list of buggy releases.

I thought it was shallow and they went the wrong direction with it... but then again people have different tastes so not like you can take that as gospel.

The gameplay and content in coop. Also, I think it's quite fantastic in a visual sense.

That's not true. The game was shit, but it sold a bundle and made them a heap of cash. Even speaking purely in terms of critical reception it wasn't really a flop.

Like they give a fuck even if all PC copies were refunded... I'd bet they made the most of their sales on the derpstation4 version and good luck refunding those
