Saves not working here (CPY release) states it saves, but go back into the game an no option to load/continue
isnt it as usual aka youu need to beat cca hour of prologue before being able to save
or maybe the usual run as admin
I finished the prologue and had a couple of messages/little icon thingy pop up stating the game is saving, also when I quit I quit and saved. Also had it running in admin mode.
How is the game? Characters and story any good? I enjoyed FC3 so much. But couldn't stand FC4.

Is it worth grabbing the texture pack if you're not using a 4k monitor? And same question for WD2, is the texyure pack HD or UHD?
dunno about primal, but wd2 texture pack contains 4 k textures. not sure why you would need 4k res though, you still notice the difference at other resolutions.
Well it might seem like a careful survival sim game early on but then you get a few upgrades and tame a few animals and it turns into a massacre sim instead as you purge all inferior tribes from your new land.
thing is in survival mode you got new stamina bar, if your animal dies its dead until you tame another one (teh best one needs to be weakened first) and you got disabled gps map ... so not that much of a massacre simulator
Ah yes that mode was patched in after the games release, forgot about that.
EDIT: Well not exactly forgot but more like I didn't take it into account when discussing the games difficulty level which is usually pretty tame but those restrictions do force you to think things through a bit more.
(From stamina management to crafting and animal companions well it does look like I forgot just how much they changed with this gameplay addition.)
well @Divvy mentioned specifically Survivor mode in his "stalker comparision" so I just reacted to that
Played for a while yesterday , really like how it looks and runs , the gameplay seems to be as excpected FC-formula with cavemen minus guns plus controllable animals ... love the beastmaster idea , but yeah starting to feel very easy so will probably restart it under Survival mode
It is boring indeed. Maybe ill restart on survivor too, but doing all the intro again till the shaman, ugh... Besides this suffer from uber overcrowding, every 5 meters i got 3 boars, 5 deers, 3 dhole, 1 leopard and 4 eagles picking me on and each other.. Im constantly firing anf making arrows. This should have more dangerous animals and tribes, but be LESS crownded for the thrill of the hunt. As it is you swing you smack something 80% of times.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe survivor mode says the opposite. Less animals, but deadlier animals.
I think the issue is because of poor English in that picture. I think "more deadly animal" means "deadlier animals" (more deadly, not more animal).
The reason I think so is because the full sentence is "Decreased world concentation, more deadly animal". So, decreased world concentatrion means less NPCs, but they're all deadlier.
(Since the person who made the helpful summary made a few mistakes, such as "concentation", I imagine this is likely)
