the story is basically young, liberal, first world adult+ internet era slang and celeb exploitation+hacking is cool in a teenager kind of way vibe+anti authority+has a trans on the city council in cutscenes and homosexual npc routines and convos all over the game+pro drug use. Basically a feel good, comedic version of Snowden+Hackers.
that pretty much sums up every checkbox they ticked in this game. don't expect anything super serious in the game itself, but some topics touched upon can be viewed in a more serious manner. |

Downloaded the CPY version with latest update and cack. The game did not work correctly... After a few minutes it goes blank screen. Any solutions? Does it works there guys?

What GPU, the game got very unstable after the first update on some systems for both AMD and Nvidia and it's made worse by other software such as overlays or say ReShade.

Any way to install the hd texture pack on cpy vs?

Just use Reshade with Sharpening man.
Nearly no performance impact, and probably also looks better.

oh boy, the driving is almost as worse as in wd1. the whole characters etc are just brrr aaargh nope. not even a 15 year old finds that "cool". shift+delete after tutorial and 30min

this game is werid ... really love all these gameplay improvements over WD1 , but anbsolutely despise these characters :-/
Also surprised how did they managed to created worse driving model than in WD 1

Yeah it's a half good half terrible kinda deal.
The actual gameplay mechanics and things you can do inside the game are pretty great. I might stick with it a bit just to mess with the pedestrians. The characters, story and driving model are complete garbage though.

Driving is the worse aspect of the game, indeed. I recommend using muscle cars exclusively, they're much better than the other types (even though still plenty of derp). I've used a specific car almost exclusively during my playthrough. (it's the last one in the Muscle category when you order a car)

I've got about 4 hours and couldn't stand it anymore. Also skipped every cutscene. For me the game is worse than mafia 3.

Mafia 3 is better in its presentation, but this one has much more interesting missions. I can't believe people think the borefest WD1 was better than this one. This might be one of the few Ubi games with some variation and fun in missions.
