Will be interesting to see how that works out besides the whole "Do I stealth past the enemies or do I beat them to death effortlessly and take the loot they drop." that some other games get into. (Dead Space for example, even in the first game it doesn't take long until the Necromorphs should be the ones running from you.)

EDIT: Well I guess RE4 might have been one of the early modern games that started this.
(Run here to trigger chainsaw event, for massive gold bar rewards!)
(Here's a few hand grenades, pistol ammo and a shotgun and enough shells to make sure you can succeed several times over...)

Well, I guess it's official now. Arkane doesn't know how to properly use game engines..They fucked up idtech and by the look of things they've fucked up cryengine...Why use it if you don't plan on delivering awesome graphics the engine is capable of (especially in this genre)?

They use it to create a hopefully good game. Not to usher in a new age of graphical fidelity.

@VGAdeadcafe

Why can't they do both huh?

Wy use cryengine at all then? Stick to UE3.It is still a very good engine and has a great performance.

Does UE3 have a great performance? So many games using it have been running like crap. But there is no excuse for such washed up graphics, especially for a AAA shooter.

I haven't been following this closely and assumed it was coming out Q4 2017. This is a pleasant surprise.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Too bad the price is shit on Steam (as most other Beth games), and that it will Denuvo.

Meh, no playing for several months then.

Not bad, although I don't see why Valve wouldn't invalidate all purchases using that price after they fix it but eh there are some few who honor purchases made via glitches even if it causes them a loss. Smile

I don't know... the game looks linear and Bioshock'ish af; meaning you force yourself through it once and never touch it again = Watch it on Twitch or YouTube works just as well to experience it.

I haven't researched this extensively though. Just a feelin'.

If it's a good game and if it has an interesting story then I don't really care tbh. Bioshock Infinite had a fantastic story and I never regretted bying it. Very Happy

What I wonder is whether this price is a glitch or not.. coz if it is then I'd buy it right now.

PS Anyways, I bought it. The price is too cheap to miss on this opportunity..especially if it's a glitch Laughing

@Bob Haha, so much quicker on the trigger than me its unreal.

Yeah, really I'm just pre-judging this af, I don't really know - the price certainly warrants a try though and it isn't like you broke the bank to test it out.

@EternalBlueScreen @IamAWESOME @h0rnyfavn
Yea, the standard price some days ago was like 2x or 3x as high i think.
And 17$ for a "AAA" Denuvo game is not too bad.

Huh..so it had a "proper" price... If it's not a glitch then such a low price for a Beth denuvo game begs the question of whether it's going to be a 5 hours long pos .. Laughing
