Does the cringy feeling wear off. I can't make it through the first 10 mins of the first ep. Feels like some SYFY show with these actors and costumes. But need something to watch badly.

Looking forward to the return and it is a great show. Pity I've recommend this to others but they never get past the brazzers quality first season.

Haha, that's exactly what happened to me as well, I'm still stuck there. I've been carefully reading all the comments though, which means that I definitely plan to resume it in the next months, and embrace the initially hidden greatness  |

Fantastic season return!!
With the exception of Black Sails weak first season, ^^^ her accent on the show is the only other major burden for this series.. I'm incredibly surprised she has survived 4 seasons it really is that bad.

She is Canadian,, so she probably knows both English and French.. I once was in France and her accent is indeed fairly believable
