i dont know division is more like the usual shooter MMORPG just with shooting, bulletsponge enemise and shit (structured and instanced kinda like guild wars 1) ..... wildlands is pretty much streamlined cross between TPP and Far Cry with little to no (aka ubiopenwrold-level of) rpg mechanics

Gears of War kinda came with the concept, not Max Payne. 
The idea is that both look like 3rd person cover shooters that lack the necessary details for what they are supposed to be, Tom Clancy's games. They are "tactical" just with the name but in reality the gameplay is streamlined befitting for a generation of dumbed down games. Highlights on everything, dumb AI, 3rd person camera, etc., these are not elements that defined the Tom Clancy games. Sure, the two are not THAT similar, but are born from the same design ideology of making easy games that feel complex so the masses can enjoy and say: "I'm playing tactical shooters". The same thing happened with RPGs...

not what i was talking about at all but whateves , you just catched the least important part of my post :-/
yeah I 100% agree about streamlining for YOLO generation and how they messed up TC's games , but that was not what i was talking about
... i was talking about overall gameplay comparision of Wildands and with its mechanics who are much more closer to openworld tacticool shooters like Far Cry or Phantom Pain than to pseudoMMORPGs like Division or Destiny
But i guess marketing rules all and somehow people are soo much into tacticool yolo coop shit nevermind the mechanics
