Well damn, that's a bummer Okay
I agree with what Chiv said, some of those names are good ones, but I would have liked to see the 100% Batfleck batflick experiment. Razz
That said!

No.

Cause then we'll have ONE good movie out of the DCEU and they'll continue making them and not restart it. They need to restart it.

Yes, and they want to maintain the same quality. Devil Troll

Well, you do want a restart of the movies. Cool Face

If Snyder does direct it and it's at least like Man of Steel then I'm ok.

Did he though? He just made him violent.

It was just Thomas Wayne from flashpoint. It wasn't batman. Nothing about bruce wayne/batman in BvS was batman.

MoS is good for the first 35 minutes.

Confirmed: Matt Reeves has already had multiple conversations with WB about directing the film, and he has committed to it, although an official deal hasn't been closed yet.

Other directors remain in the wings, including Ridley Scott and Don't Breathe director Fede Alvarez.

THR's sources say the script is about to get a significant overhaul, which will end up likely reducing Affleck's involvement to the project to just playing Batman. Variety and Deadline's reports say no such thing, although it's known the most current draft has already received rewrites by Affleck's partner, Chris Terrio.

If they choose someone like Reeves (and he's basically a lock as I understand), it's unlikely he won't have extensive creative control, or he won't sign in the first place.

More and more people claim their sources are telling them Affleck is out for good.

Just fucking ADR BvS for re-release and have them say Thomas Wayne instead of Bruce Wayne and say that it's set in the flashpoint (add more flash bits to make it logical). And have Batfleck return in the flash movie.

Recut the 'origin' and have the father survive but never show his face.

Remove the superman/batman introduction so that clark never meets bruce (there's no need for that) Remove the whole SUPERMAN DESTROYED MY BUILDING O WOE IS ME bit. have them fight each other because one is a man and one is a god and one is afraid of the other.

And you got yourself movie set in flashpoint.

Like seriously... Retards.

Which would be kind of awesome and they can do a whole lot of mashups set in Flashpoint. And just have snyder direct them cause he obviously is the Burton of comic book movies.

Reeves is out. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/batman-negotiations-break-down-director-matt-reeves-977266

Quote:
A week after entering negotiations to direct The Batman, Matt Reeves has exited the talks, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

A studio source confirms that negotiations have broken down. The possibility, however, exists that talks could resume when heads cool.
The studio is intent on making the movie no matter what as the Batman franchise has proven to bigger than one person.

DCEU Laughing Laughing Laughing

Probably they didn't want to give him creative control.

there are worse options than an unknown getting the gig... in fact, sometimes they can be the biggest surprises... honestly id prefer it. as i said above, id rather they went with someone lesser or unknown, as i wasnt all that keen on reeves, so this is good news for me.

Since they don't want to hire a director and give him even a modicum of creative control, they might as well hire Brett Ratner. Troll Face

Give the gig to Paul Feig. He did a marvelous job with the new Ghostbusters.
But then again, I've heard he's holding out for the Batgirl movie, in which Batman's penis is the villain.
