from my poor german it sounds like an unfounded rumor. also i would be ..slightly surprised.. if they passed up the chance to sell the game during xmas to work on it for one extra month. no, i think more along the lines of march/april release, at the EARLIEST.

That's very great news but as upstart_69 said , i don't think we'll see an earlier relase of Oblivion... After all, developers said in December that their game didnt comply to their "quality requirements' so January or February seems too early for me Rolling Eyes

Maybe it is where you live, but holidays 2006 here is the summer time.. not many people go on holiday in the winter do they?

Anyway as long as its not as buggy as Morrowind and does not have starforce protection then im happy to wait..

When Holidyas are mentioned in that way they are referring to christmas, wether that's in the summer or winter for you isn't the point.

yes it definitely was not buggy. gothic was buggy. however morrowind always felt empty because of the wide-open empty spaces and real lack of interesting characters you could actually relate to, IMO. but if these two games address their weaknesses and keep their strengths, wow... it will be a good year for the rpg.

Well there was a huge bug where you could get stuck in the game, had something to do with being able to enter the corpus cave at the start of the game. This was fixed with a patch.
Stuff like that made the game a little hard to play right of the box...

My favorite bugs in the game was the bartering bug and weapon enchant bug, there used to be lots of bugs.

There is also some bugs related to crashing, but most of them could be fixed by editing the configuration file.

Prove it. Nothing on the official site or even on the forums there (im sure people would talk about it if it was true).

However, PC Gamer and Game Informer Previews have both been talking about march, so that's pretty likely.

A user on Oblivion forums wrote:
Oh and.....this previewer played the game at Bethesda. He said the game was almost done and was told it would be out in MARCH.

Hoping it's true.

It's not, it's a hoax (read the whole thread).

March is what everyone is _speculating_ about yes, but no one knows, i bet Bethesda doesnt know either. It's the same for every game, EBgames/Amazon etc always have a speculated release date so that people will pre-order, for Oblivion they say march but they dont know more than me or you so..

Some people think their little country is the entire world.

Anyhow, it says march 24th for both xbox360 and the pc, but I'll never believe things like that coming out from israeli sites.

<sarcasm>Because a huge portion of the world speaks Hebrew...</sarcasm>

And there is absolutely no reason why this Israeli site would know anything more then any other site, it's not like Israel has a very large market for games nor does it have any connection to the developers or publisher to the game.

sarcasm tags added for people who do not understand subtleties like Nec

A huge portion of the world? Please man, just because judaism is one of the major religions does not mean all of its members can speak the language, nor does it mean a "huge" amount of people from other religions/places speak the language.
