Don't Ubi games usually come with some sort of preorder/DLC/unlockable table that you can consult?

all i can find is a table with the various editions, like standard, deluxe and gold edition.
those free skins and packs are of course not in there. i don't remember there was ever a table for this free stuff, not in division, battlefield or any other game.

also i don't get all the hate. if you don't like it, don't like it but why repeat it all the time? if you can't get with the times and live in old modding times with games that no one wants to play anymore, then it's fine but let others play and collect what they want too.
kinda childish

How's it 'hate'? You're only upset because the ridiculousness of this game is being pointed out. Why else would you care if I laughed at a weapon skin? And in a Tom Clancy game, no less?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

im not upset why should i?
it's totally fine pointing to stuff which YOU don't like let it be one, two or three times. but why even more. why still coming to a thread and tell everyone how much YOU don't like it?
i mean im not in the fallout 4, or deus ex thread all day either. why should i tell everyone all day that i don't like it. so for me, if you do this all the time without any reason (you are not forced to play it), it's pure hate and nothing else.

You can probably unlock some things via the Uplay Reward thingie in the client with achievement points.
Just like for most other Ubilol games.

And yet people generally don't (and haven't in this thread either) because they'd be looked at as simple.

Rewards were visible during the beta and include some cloths and a G36c rifle.

Or maybe this game has so few qualities that they aren't even worth repeating. I mean the story seems ok and so does the writing, the world is big and with varied landscapes and the weapons customizations are really cool. How much can you repeat these things and to what end when this is hardly a Ghost Recon game and its the list of problems is so freaking huge.

There is an answer for that also which I've said before but I have no problem repeating it. You can find praising anywhere you look, constructive and well argued criticism not so much. Enjoy this while it lasts, because, as it's shown by the current trend, gamers are becoming an indistinguishable mass with a church-like attitude towards anyone who says something different than "awesome game!".

TBH I think it's the opposite, much easier to find people slagging games off these days, to paraphrase Sam from Burn Notice "You know gamers... bunch of bitchy little girls." Obviously no denying many, many games deserve being criticised to high heaven (No Man's Sky, Arkham Knight PC, AC:Unity etc. etc.) but there really does seem to be a a modern mentality of "ok I hate it so I'm going to say over and over and over how much I hate it because my opinion must be heard and acknowledged".

If you do a quick search of Neogaf, Reddit or Steam's community forums you'll see that things are just the opposite. For each person who tries to say something negative there are 20 fanbois who will jump on him like hyenas. An even better example are the Steam reviews where games which are objectively average or just above the average have scores over 90%. Another example is gaming journalism where review scores below 8 have become a rare sight.

still some more exclusive and free skins would be nice. i think we had like 5 or 6 at the division start.

I perfectly understand your point, though from how I see it, there's a giant aspect to consider, which is the fuel that ignites the fire from the very start and makes all the complaints completely justified: the cancerous state of AAA gaming.
In terms of gameplay mechanics, with the constant need to streamline and cater to the broadest possible crowd no matter what and completely disrespecting the gamers' intelligence (or what's left of it); in terms of business models, with absolutely embarrassing and borderline disgusting decisions that repeatedly go against the customer, the hilariously sad and depressing state of the "quality control", it's so tragically recurring, and this game is objectively the embodiment of all this. I posted my opinion here, and...on the first post.

It's like our cry for help, it's true that no one will hear it from here, but hell we need to say something and react to the ineptitude surrounding us, or we may well be dead inside and rebranded as walking green pears.

That said, the beauty of a public forum is exactly the variety of opinions (on any subject), and the exchange of different views that enrich the dialogue Razz (otherwise, we may as well close down the Humps) when it comes to gaming, movies, you name it, always respecting personal tastes and backgrounds.*

Kinda like the mixture of 3rd and firstperson looks like they are aiming for both hardcore and more "softcore" crowds..,

Definitely going to try demo of that game.. whatever it will be provided by the company or by other means...

I try to be objective as possible and when it comes down to it, if I had fun, I'm going to support the game and buy it. However, I also don't over review something and am far from the typical "fanboi." But that being said, I don't understand how people whine and complain about graphics and tweaking it to get the best amount of performance while the shadows and foliage aren't up to par. Maybe because I am old and remember how bad graphics were back in the day with my Commodore 64 in that anything these days is much more enjoyable except for maybe hex-type strategy games.

Damn, I feel old. Sad

A lot of people hate on the bigger companies like Ubi and EA which reflects opinions on their games.

I honestly play games for fun. If I enjoy it, I'll buy it. It was nice that Ubi released open betas for For Honor and Wildlands. I didn't like For Honor much, wasnt my style of the game. But I did enjoy the little bit of Wildlands so I ended up buying it.
