Flightplan 5/10 little bit entertaining, interesting story, but I didn't like the conclusion.
Spoiler: | When i first saw that flight marshal dude, i realised that he was behind all that. |

Finally got my ass to the theatre to see King Kong ... and it was great! The 3 hour running time felt more like 1.5 hours at most. The special effects were unbelievable -- 9/10.
Wedding Crashers -- pretty funny, but I think I expected more from all the hype (this is the first time I've seen it) -- 7.5 / 10
The Constant Gardener -- I was really interested in seeing this one since it is from the same director of City of God (if you haven't seen CoG you've probably missed one of the best movies you'll ever see Link) -- enjoyable, smart thriller -- 8/10

The Brothers Grimm 6.5/10 Started off very weak...ended a little bit better. Could as well been called 'the brothers Johnson' since it didn't realy involve much of the brothers grimm

Technically poor? The scene in the hospital is a masterpiece. The same coulda been done in hollywood but wouldn't have thad the same atmospheric effect. Again you've taken a stupid view on asian films (like you did with taegukgi) the film is much more than kids killing themselves, and school kids jumping off buildings etc. Watch it again

I LOVE ASIAN CINEMA
chan-wook park is an amazing director.
so is takashi miike.
so is takeshi kitano.
so is wong kar-wai.
i know art when i see it.
i never bashed teagukgi...maybe because i love that movie (i'll make it easy for you: you mistake me for fisk)
and i watched that movie (suicide circle) fully conscious and i keep my opinion: IT'S PURE CRAP! |
Well that's it though. You fail to appreciate it at all. You go into the moronic 'omgz there's blood and guts'
I could understand if the culture subtleties were like in Hero where each colour meant something, but in this again it's pretty obvious just in the storyline and the acting.
And you didn't bash taegukgi but you said it dragged on and didnt really appreciate it properly either.
