On the bright side, after that decision she won't have any more control on movies until her next birthday!

Resident Evil : Final Chapter -1/10
Only good thing about it is its title... FINAL CHAPTER.
Such a promising series when it began with such a great source and now this?
I am used to "suspend my disbelief" from watching pro wrestling, but in this one, even i couldn't do that anymore.
The entire thing makes no sense and it's like they forgot their own plot lines from the earlier movie and just made something up to "end it already".
Seriously, so much bullshit. Glad it's over...

Raid 2: Berandal
Can't rate it as I stopped watching in the middle. Can't take any more fight where the baddies just wait for their turn to run towards a guy with a weapon to murder them one by one. It's like watching fights in Assassins Creed. "Yo yo, everybody! Wait for your turn to get murdered" "He just closed the door on us that we broke open, we should let him murder our comrades inside of that room" And not for a second anyone was thinking "We are 10 people, he is one. Let's talk to each other and come up with a plan as we just saw him murder 5 of our guys that ran into him one on one.
Nah, the first one was great, where a guy tried to get out of impossible situations by using his surrounding, his skills and his smartsies. This one was just a super stupid clichéed story with some gory fight scenes.

Raid 2 wasn't that bad but it suffered from being a bit bloated. Still, it was leagues ahead of many so called "action" films nowadays.
Unfortunately, you stopped watching before the best parts which occour towards the end.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Rogue One 7/10
Some impressive set pieces and visuals but paper thin characters and a contrived story. Not "Better than Empire" as the reviews would have had us believe but a solid Star Wars film.

Passengers (2016)
~7/10
Not bad for a romance film. The film should have been much shorter though.
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Kong: 6.5 / 10
Was really enjoyable. The characters were really flat and useless, but I like John C Reilly, so that was great The 3D effects were really good!

Logan 8/10
Except a couple dragging moments, movie was close to perfection as a hero's twilight tale. Or shall I say heroes? Patrick Stewart, poignant acting. Loved it.

Rogue One - 8/10
At last, the wait was long and painful almost like Saw Guerrera's tentacle porn interrogation techniques, but damn, it was worth it.
After the mild sense of disappointment provided by the glossy sad trombone 7, finally a Star Wars movie that felt like an old-school, yet modern Star Wars movie, and not just a glorified two hour long cameo of rebooted pseudo-nostalgia.
The atmosphere was much more interesting and genuine, the characters more invested (with still occasional awkward moments, but I guess it could have been worse xD), Felicity Jones was perfect for the giggity..ehm role (no seriously, I found her rather comfortable and believable), there was humour, drama, the great K-2SO, kung fu with Daredevil, the familiar yet new music, the cinematography which did its job very well with both fascinating vistas and solid action-y shots (with the only downside for me being the CGI character which showed itself without knocking first and made me smile). Same goes for the great pacing, and dat glorious ending.
All in all, a surprisingly quality effort that I initially thought difficult to achieve, but they pulled it off, the absolute madmen. They created the best Star Wars movie since the original trilogy, hands down.

Rogue One 6/10
I would have rated it 5/10 for its utter mediocrity - but I liked the ending enough to give it one more point.
Force Awakens was better, not for originality - to be sure - but in terms of Star Wars atmosphere and cool action scenes.

rogue one...
oh god its blade 2 all over again.. Spoiler: | why cant donnie catch a break. token asian guy... dies like a punk |
anyway i totally disagree 100% with casus and speedgear. rogue one is the star wars film force awakens WISHES it was.
the story was interesting (as in it took us on a grand adventure), the action sequences were thrilling and well done (unlike force awakens dull action apart from that ONE action sequence when they left some.. temple thing? that sequence was kinda ok - of all the things said, i disagree so SO hard with awakens having BETTER action than this one...), the acting was actually competent, and unlike force awakens, it actually had a soul rather than just being generic, safe, mainstream affair; rogue one actually managed to inject some tragedy and loss into the mix, and they did that by actually taking a bit of time to create worthwhile characters. Oh, and they actually made a decent bot unlike that retarded beachball force awakens had. In a heartbeat i would swap that forgettable bot with the snarky bastard from this one, he was great!
it wasnt 100% successful... the asian characters had so much potential that was utterly wasted, the deaths at the end Spoiler: | (im speaking specifically of the asians and the pilot) reeked of 'im bored now, lets just write them out as quickly as possible' | and poor donnies 'im one with the force' bit was so so SO badly done - the characters deserved so much better..
but all in all.. this is probably my third favorite star wars film... it shows what COULD have been done with the 'proper' star wars film, if it'd been handled by people who gave a shit. Im happy with it, i really enjoyed it, and was glad to see it didn't turn out into this 'pro feminist' movie the writers claimed it was.. I REALLY ENJOYED IT! if this is what star wars can be when it moves away from the diseased 'core franchise', then fucking bring it on.

Rogue one 6/10
Better than the other one we got, still had a few moments where it fumbled.
I thought most deaths of 'important' characters were done rather uninspired.
That Vader scene was long overdue.
But yeah, better action, acting, less silly humor,... This would be a better base to build on for the franchise.
I was ready to dislike it but...

Rogue One got the SW atmosphere right, when i watched Force Awakens i was thinking it's a rather generic sci-fi flick similar to Star Trek, something that tries to be Star Wars but is clueless what it means, how to do it. It was much worse than the prequels which had a great sense of adventure + the Star Wars atmosphere is still there, far from perfect but extremely enjoyable, unlike F.A.
