Laughing Laughing

I guess that was kind of expected. Releasing close to Nier and Mass Effect. Second, It took more than 2+ years for the first game to hit 400K sale figure. This will eventually reach that height too.

I was curious as well about it (also about the film grain), but it seems that unlike the good old UE3 times, there are no useful .ini files to quickly edit. The ones in AppData\Local\Styx2\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor only point to the game's directory where the files are packed, and we can't do anything with those (for now).

Finished it Smile stealthy goblin style, not a single alarm triggered. But I left a trace of dead bodies behind me Smile Overall in every regard it's an improvement over the first game , which I've also enjoyed a lot. Hopefully they'll make another one

Panther Konkol Fuck Yeah
Indeed let's hope so, it's a shame that it is selling quite poorly. It seems the traditional approach with focus on pure stealth doesn't appeal to most gamers these days, they expect to have god-like powers, abilities and fancy automaticity which aren't present here. No wonder we often have many "hybrids" today where you can go gunblazing and be pseudo-stealthy, but in the end both the approaches end up being superficial, jacks of all trades, master of none.

I'm taking it very slow as per usual, like sipping a quality tea, still doing the 4th mission and loving it.

I am sure people love the game. It has 9/10 in Steam and 75% Metascore afterall. But it had little to no marketing and most people who played it just finish it and move on without mentioning anywhere how good it is. I still haven't tried any of the 2 games as I have big backlog and not much time but I plan on playing at least Shards of Darkness at some future point. Sad

a flop is when a game sells less than 5 million.

Update 05/04/17
Hi everyone!

We just pushed out a new update! Read up on the full details below.

Beyond this patch, we are also working on more options for saves in co-op mode, along with other game tweaks. Thanks for your continued feedback, it's been a huge help for our team!

NEW OPTIONS

Players can now disable Game Over cutscenes
Players can now entirely disable the HUD (Health and Amber gauges), leaving only the UI prompts and occasional Tutorial windows.
The Dual Shock 4 controller is now natively supported. Players still have to manually select the “Playstation” option in “Options -> Controls -> Button Type” to correctly adapt the UI of the game.
A FOV (Field of Vision) Slider has been added to the game.

IMPROVEMENTS

The Multiplayer’s experience (both on Host and Client side) has been improved -> Less visual desynchronisations / More consistent experience

STABILITY

General improvements of the Stability in Solo and Multiplayer
Fix of a specific corruption problem that could happen on a player’s save and cause a Crash if the player loaded that save.
Fix of a Multiplayer Crash that happened if you were navigating in the Mission menu while dying
Fix of a Multiplayer Crash that happened if you were buying a specific skill

BUG FIXES

Several fixes linked to Keyboard Binding problems.
Fix of a rare problem that didn’t trigger the “Reach the Tavern” objective in the Prologue Mission
Fix on the optional objective “Find the Switch” in the Mines sector (Linked to the acquisition of a new Dagger for Styx). Activating the switch while not being in Amber Vision didn’t trigger properly the rest of the secondary mission.
Fix of abnormal Amber consumption for the Client in Multiplayer.
Fix of a rare Multiplayer bug where the Client could lose the control of Styx after a clone had been killed.

A 2 GB update was released, going by SteamDB this adds support for Korean localization and hopefully something besides that but I'm guessing that's the main thing for this patch.
