Just tried the G900 for 2 days.
Considering the very high price my reaction was: meh.

I read before that the mechanic for the mouse buttons was superior. But i seriously didn't notice a real (positive) difference compared to the G502 for example. Just that the G900 click sound is even louder.

The sensor seemed to perform the same like the G502.

Meh, still can't decide if i keep my oldish G700s or the brand new G502. Embarassed

Is there a list of discontinued logitech mouse and keyboards?

It might be a good idea to look around the all sort of auction sites for older stuff.
For example Logitech g400 mouse without any stupid colors. Or logitech g11 keyboard. Those are still available new or used and better than most of the crap they offer now

mx master. was using the logitech 518 and derivates up to the g500 for the last 12 or so years, but after the scroll wheel of my g500 broke and the newer logitech "gaming" series didn't offer anything special and was pretty much the same price, i decided to give it a shot, although the reviews were varied, especially concerning the durability.

didn't disappoint so far. it's sexy as hell, a grown up mouse in the sense that it sin#t made for children's hands and the haptic is wonderful (has a hefty feel and the clicky clicky just fells solid and nice). perfect mouse for productivity and occasional gaming (wouldn't exactly recommend it for competitive shooters, although the input lag is basically nil).

Ok, got the G502 up and running.

It's a bit smaller than the G500 and the side buttons feel a little weird coming from those in the G500 but I like the wheel, seems more robust than the one on the G500 so I hope it will last even longer.
Still, I'm tempted to buy some pads for the G500 somewhere, since now I might give a shot at opening it and trying to fix the right click button + clean the wheel a bit.

Haha, first time, finding out what a mouse bungee is. It's funny because I'm using a ghetto solution that resembles what the mouse bungee does.

My solution uses a hanging thread that keeps part of the mouse cable lifted so that it doesn't rest on the surface close to the mouse pad.

Same. Plus, it works wonders for mouse smoothness and accuracy.

Just bought an MX Master, as my Proteus RGB, while very good, is not so comfortable for long sessions of working with a mouse.

This MX Master is like, pure luxury - the Bentley of mice. It's big, tall and feels like a firm breast cupped in the palm of your hand. (a very firm one...), I love the smartscroll thing (tho I read that might break eventually), the thumb roller is glorious, the hidden thumb rest button is just absolute genius - and it actually works (unlike the other MX which felt a bit odd), and oh yeah, 3 device connection.. using it for my phone and ipad is just the icing on a very delicious cake.

Now, you watch the fucker break in a week Neutral

I would like to upgrade to wireless mouse maybe.
I always use 1200 to 1600dpi. Never needed more. At least on my g400.
How the 2 compare? I think g602 is cheaper and have longer lasting battery and g400 sensor?
But people seem to love deus ex mouse too.

So is it worth getting wireless for comfort and which one? I do not game competively ever btw.
Also mx master can connect to smartphones and tablets which can be very handy

G602 is better for gaming, its lighter and the accuracy is fantastic. Personally i cannot see any difference in accuracy compared to wired Steelseries Sensei.

I've tried g602 and its very awkward...
There is not enough room to place all 3 fingers on top, because left mouse button have 2 additional small buttons on the side, which take so much fucking space, that I cannot comfortably rest all 3 fingers (on left button, scroll and right click) on the mouse without touching/clicking those.
Who thought its a good idea to have those, if You already have 6 buttons on a side (which are also easily pressed)
Same with g502 (which i've tried even though I don't want wired mouse)

Seems like my g400/mx518 shape is still the king. Such a good mouse.

They also had mx master and m705. Two basic mice which were both comfortable and had cool infinite scroll wheel. Although those are probably 125hz so might not be enough.
