I don't see how it can ever be faster than a cable, but then I don't really know much about it. You asked what was wrong with us for 'not doing our research'. Does it mean there's something wrong with you for not doing yours?
The only thing I can see (in my research, what is wrong with me) is that it's faster than some other cabled mice.
And that thing is a pig on battery life - one reason I will probably never make the switch from wired
There was a site that did a radio test on all these different mice and that G900 did crazy good to keep up with the cable. I'll see if I can find it, was an interesting test. Razer's Naga I think it was did absolutely fucking awedul, that shit was all over the charts.
lol those razer mice, there's more latency in their clicks than Logitech's wireless.
Regarding battery life on the g900, I've had mine since around October and gaming 3-4 hours during the weekday I plug it in to charge maybe once a week? Twice if I play games all day like I sometimes do on the weekends. Not too bad considering my other Logitech mouse needed juice every other day.
Still think it's overpriced for what it is but I don't regret it. Only mouse I've ever had where I can game as long as I want and my hand doesn't hurt or feel cramped after, even after 10 hours, which is the reason I decided to keep it. Feels good in my hand, performs how i want it but comfort factor > everything else.
Logitech G700s because i was never dissapointed by them.
That's the mouse I ended up replacing, really hated that if you wanted to use the battery it was right in the back, fun mouse though, loved the button placements, would still be using it if it didn't make my hand cramp like crazy after two hours.
Found out that I can order an infinite amount of MS Intellimouse explorer 3.0 from china for like 15-20$ a piece. So I'm good for life lol.
And yes, it is the real deal

@paxsali Both are ridiculous. The entire gaming "grade" = LED is retarded as hell. It's just distracting. But that Corsair mouse looks more comfortable to me (that's a subjective preference). But I will keep saying, no free spinning scroll wheel = shit mouse. It's invaluable in anything that's not gaming.
