Yeah, I think so too.  The quickest way is to check the various winning World Cup squads, but no one fits the criterias as far as I can tell. The closest that I got was Belletti, but he did play with Messi so nay.

If it's club world cup, then Maicon fits.
Think there is no one who won the world cup, CL, played under Jose but not in Germany or with Messi/Ramos.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL (I'll keep referees out of this)
My thoughts:
- A Friendly
is like watching paint dry. It is pointless. Sad when players get injuries for nothing. It can ruin the player's season and it can destroy a league club's season, if the injured player is a key player.
- Qualifiers/Competitive Group stages
shouldn't even be on TV. Often too predictable.
- Competitive tournaments
can be fun and social during the knock-out/final stages.
I like international football - when it matters. When there's something to win and something to lose.
Like in a big-dick tournament that gets broadcasted pretty much everywhere. That's a cool thing, and I like that at least sometimes it rallies people who aren't even interested in football to tune in to see what the deal is.
Another part I like is that sometimes, not always of course, I discover new players that I didn't know about from a country I usually pay less attention to in terms of league football.
Lastly, I think that like in any tournament, it is cool to see smaller nations punch above their weight, and even sometimes get that cool 'hero'/underdog status by viewers.
I wouldn't mind at all though if the initial group stages weren't broadcasted at all. I find knock-out stages in football interesting. You know the games where a team loses they're out. Done. None of that 1st Leg, 2nd Leg, Away Goal, 'Win on Aggregate' horse-shit.
