We should not. A crappy game is still crappy regardless how many worked on it.

The game is fun, 8/10. For me, it's the first mass effect i realy want to play and finish, and I tried them all.
You can whine for hours over what's not perfect about it, and that's a lot. But that's the problem with alomst all AAA RPG's and open world games, there complex and never perfect (exclude gta 5 and witcher 3). People just love to hate EA and Bioware. Same with SWTOR. People went apeshit about that one, only because it wasn't as good as wow (duh). Not a fanboy though, just, I dont get it. Having fun with a decent game, period.

You have the right to have as fun as you like with the game. Nobody here forced you otherwise.
Me and many others hate EA for a reason. I didn't wake up one morning and said "ok from now on I'm hating EA".
All the reasons for not liking the game are absolutely legit and for me number one reason is the childish dialogue and the forced "politically correct" agenda.

Lets not discuss whether or not people have the right or whether or not it is legitimate to like or dislike the game. We know where this ends, and I'm sure we all dont want that.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Just did the Cora loyalty mission. Very well done. It felt like a mission with actual purpose and weight, and the romance writing was touching and quite convincing.
Really digging this game, I must say.

One of the few videos of TB that wasn't terrible?
Gameplay looks good. I don't know how people can like something like Alpha Protocol (or Vampire the Masquerade, for that matter) with all its terrible dialog, bugs, terrible UI, visual glitches and, frankly, just not good gameplay, and then criticize this for having the same flaws. What makes one a "diamond in the rough" while another a "turd in the dirt"? A little hypocritical. At least this being EA, there is a chance of most of these being fixed, rather than some "indie" or poor game developer and a failing publisher that has to move on three months after release to the next garbage.

Comparing Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines to MEA doesn't feel right. How did it have terrible diolog? I don't know how anyone can say Vampire had shit dialog. Did you ever try to play with Malkavian clan? Also Activison rushed Troika to release it early. Please don't use 2004 game to make MEA look good.

You're right about Alpha protocol being (very) medicore, but forget about an important thing:
Both Alpha Protocol and and Vampire the Masquerade were hammered by fans and to a lesser extend reviewers when the games were released, just as with MAE. And this is true for almost every cRPG ever released. People focus on bugs present at release and go into full nerd rage, even i've the core of the game is good. Arcanum, now considerd a classic, was the end of Troika for being a buggy mess at release and a total flop.
That said, MAE is a pretty solid release for a cRPG, not perfect or brilliant, but very entertaining in the current state.

Oh give me a break, its insulting to even compare MEA to Vampire the masquarade or Alpha protocol, yeah they both had technical issues, but when it came to dialogue and general writing both are miles above this shit stain. Vampire is way above anything mass effect period. You know what they both also have ? much better facial animations as well, these games are also way older then MEA and had significantly lower budgets.
Also both of those games got criticized by reviewers for bugs and lack of polish, you know what the average metacritic score for alpha protocol is ? 72%, Vampire the Masquarade Bloodlines, one of the best role playing games ever made is at 80%.

On one hand, I'm really curious about this game. I have a high tolerance to bugs, so I might find it relatively easy to ignore those issues.
But I have a low tolerance for paying 60$ CAD for a game I might not like while people are giving me warning signs.
I'm split on this one. Hopefully gray-key sites get better deals soon.

And yet it has been sucked up by console players. Oddly enough reports that the game is something like 20% down on digital sales compared to ME3 - I bet EA will never again let openworld game free to try on Origin
Anyone who bought this game knowing just how dreadful it is, is supporting this as the future of gaming - generic, low-key voice acting done by those just looking for a paycheck, and cashing in on an established name.

Screw you guys, Alpha Protocol was awesome fun. Good writing, great dialog, morrowind combat until you got to higher levels in the skill tree, then you could just run around and karate everyone with the occasional pistol fu ala Albert Wesker.
And so many different branches. On my 5th replay I found a route I had not run into before that revealed how a guy I thought was okish was totally not.

It's slightly cheaper on hkrgame and you get a mystery game, but I personally never used hrkgame. Still very pricey overall, for a controversial game.
