you watched the movie outside your using time (btw with rs2 ms opens the corridor a bit more, atm its limited to 12hrs, will be 18hrs with rs2 iirc) about the windows update stuff, dunno, dont always bash ms for that. they might have done that after speaking with amd and intel. and sorry to say that again: why should you use 2017 hardware with a 2009 os, it doenst make sense. its a pain in the ass to install on a ryzen plattform and for kaby lake it takes some steps too to make it work (on kaby atleast everything works, making it work on ryzen takes much more afford)

How you guys having the OS auto-restarting after getting an OS update? Mine just runs in the background but then waits for me to tell it restart manually? me neither, most likely cause they have tampered with 3rd party tools without knowing what the switches do even if you are away a few min windows doesnt apply any update automaticly (unless you have pushed it back a multiple times, which cant be the case here cause the update is from tuesday)

Tried now, nothing worked TL;DR : Microsoft pushed an update to the MTP driver which was supposed to fix problems. It stopped ANY device using the MTP protocol to be properly recognised and installed Solution for those affected: "(1) Go to C:\Windows\INF (2) Type "wpdmtp.inf" in search bar provided to the right of the address bar in Windows 10. (3) Once you found it, just right click on it and select install. It will take a very few seconds. (4) Connect your device to the pc. Done." Or manually search for the driver in device manager. Microsoft, screwing you over one bit at a time.

that was two weeks ago, since nobody here mentioned it havent posted what to do easier way: go to the device-manager. click on the mobile device, install driver, select driver from this computer und select the mtp device (will automaticly show it)

nope its not! though they released the sdk files (which they have done for other insider versions too) its not the build which will get rolled out as final that has been already said officially my bet final build will bet 15068, cause th2 and rs1 had the transversal 20 too

They could also opt to just release cumulative updates like happened with 14393 before the public full launch. The language packs are all available, release preview branch is available as a insider op-in and the watermark and time bomb are also gone so this could be the RTM build though things can change but chances are they'll provide a cumulative update. We'll know soon I suppose, either a new build rolls out in a couple of days and that then becomes the RTM candidate or they'll release a update and this becomes 15063.xxx and then it goes from there. Still nothing newer than 15063 here either, though that can pause at times as it's not always that they're announcing builds or making the info about them available so it can be listed on that website or elsewhere. https://buildfeed.net/

they will do. a .0 build wont happen for the launch (rumors say 11th of april). languagepacks are available since a few builds (only mobile had problems, they are fixed now. but mobile wont be released with the desktop version, comes a few weeks later) watermark is removed yes, but it was removed in 58 build already (after they changed the version number 1607 to 1703 with 55 officially), came back with 61 and was removed with 63 again (imho they planed to pick 15059 as final build first, same transversal here. we know ms is eager about their versionnumbers). they had to fix some stuff, hence the signoff didnt happened last week as initially planned. insiders might get another build before the final .0 main build at the end of the week hope they release official iso fast, need to do a clean install cause i fucked up a few things (or better say: most likely a few things got fucked up when i changed my mobo in december)

na, rs2 release was every last build dunno why they think that, there are plenty problems still and even an update bug for mobile (requires another rs2 build when updating from rs1 to the 63).

fyi the watermark was removed in a 5x build already, came back with 61 and was removed with 63 STILL NOTHING OFFICIAL (and btw kills office licenses when you upgrade and the upgradetool has some interesting china stuff inside) normal procedure for ms, those files arent official. they are for other companies/pc oems so that ms can test the complete shit. hence the images (esds through the tool) are public (does not mean you and your mum should use that)
