I just got a 360 off of ebay for a reasonable price tag, however im worried it will look fuggly on my TV. Alot of people are saying that on a regular TV, the 360 looks like the first XBOX. Is this true?
Are there any pics showing comparing the 2?
I dont have the cash atm to get a hdtv, so im a bit worried it will look like crap.

hmm i doubt that.
sure HD makes the image look sharper and such, but i doubt that the games will look like a normal xbox game  |

well most xbox360 games look like xbox games atm... but I think if you are such a graphics whore you had to wait like 1 year when the devs can make better looking games than the bunch of crap that is now on the 60.

The easiest way to check this is by trying a nice looking pc game on a standard tv instead of the monitor.
I did this myself to see how much worse it became, and the result surprised me.
I tested with most wanted, and sure it's ALOT sharper on the monitor, but it still doesn't look bad on my secondary tv, a sony 29inch which is 8years old (so it will be even better on a newer standard tv). And MILES ahead of the ps2 or the xbox version. I actually prefear to play it through tv-out on my 29inch tv and not on the monitor.
I tested with a few more games, like hl2, serious sam 2 and cod2, and it was the same results.
To but it simple, you get all the graphics but in a more blurry and lower resulution way. 
People that say that the games look like xbox games on a regular tv, are just idiots.
This is as long as you play a game that really do look next-gen, like condemned, kameo or any other NEW game and not a bad port.

play the fight night 3 demo on a tv and tell me its anywhere near xbox 1... ppl just love to talk shit... btw... you can buy a vga cable and use any monitor... i use my 23" crt... quite perfect...

Anyone who says it looks the ame on a SDTV needs there eyes checked.
I dont have HDTV, but looking at an xbox games and a 360 game you can see the diffrence.

I can't beleive some of the crap when people say it looks like an xbox1 game on a SDTV. Thats complete bullshit....Its so clear I'm not worried about getting a HDTV until next year when the prices go down more.
I was acullaly very suprised at how good it looks on a SDTV.
Another question about what type of HDTV to get...an LCD or A Tube HDTV....I don't know if I like LCD for gameing...what do you guys think?
