Finished ending A on very hard. Not that happy with the game and now I have to go through it with 9s.
Combat is easy and ok. Weapons feel completely useless. Just pick crit one and full on damage and crit chips and enemies die very quickly. I am using the double damage items the whole time and I can just keep buying them without ever worrying about money. Bosses die very quickly and most of the time it feels very rushed.
Story didn't grab me yet at all sadly.

I'll just mention that 'endings' in this game are more like 'chapters' - you've not experienced half the game yet. Keep playing.

I know it's 1/3 done from what I hear. Just saying what I think of it so far.

This review had to be done and I think is my best work so far:
| The Game Slashers wrote: |
NieR: Automata can be perceived in multiple ways. It’s an interactive anime, a surprising RPG and a solid action game with a bit of shoot’em up on the side. We never get to see these elements coming together in a single game which is an impressive feat on its own, but having them almost proportionally equal in quality and seamlessly transitioning is something else entirely.
This was a great gaming experience from the very start to the very end and I mean that literally. Even the end credits ooze some sort of hipstery awesomeness that hides a deeper meaning and choices that tie within the entire story concept. It’s almost as if this game never wanted to let the players get bored always changing for their benefits. Listening to Yoko Taro’s recent interview I know this was an intentional hard work trying to push an evolutionary leap on the overused design framework of today’s video games.
It’s hard to look over this review and not question my own objectivity which has been a driving force for my writing. Is this really an objective review or a love letter to a game that I now hold close to my heart? I can’t answer my own question so I’ll let time settle out the dust over this deeply troubled generation of gaming promising to look back on NieR: Automata when the time is right to judge if it was a strike during a weak moment or part of the generation defining games joining the ranks of cult classics.

Playable? probably yes but i wouldn't recommend it it's hand down one of the worst kb/m implementations i have seen so far, use a pad if possible

Be patience, CPY loves to crack these kind of games but it has neoD so it's hard to tell..

The flight mini-game where you transform to a more 3D mobile suit rather than a 2D air craft and have to fight off enemies can be difficult to get used to with mouse control and the hacking mini-game where you play some 8-bit looking shooter is very sensitive to even smaller movements so once again aiming can prove to be problematic.
Mouse movement also controls your "pod" which is basically what you use for ranged attacks so I'd recommend starting on normal or even easy difficulty and using lock-on (Which is disabled on hard difficulty.) until you get used to the pods movement pattern when shooting.
Aside from that though I haven't had any problems with mouse or keyboard input in this game.

Cant put myself to play anymore. Tried very hard actually and that shouldnt be neccesary. If it wasn't for the panties I doubt the game would have sold much. Story isn't grabbing me at all even halfway into 9s ending.

Clearly the panties are what make NieR: Automata one of the best games of this generation.

Clearly the game isn't. Besides, 'this generation' what a joke.

I think that was a joke. The DLC is a battle arena for high level characters. There's also a costumes DLC:

Nothing about a PC patch, PC release date for these DLCs or an actual story DLC...
