If you watch some videos you see 0-sec it's source. The game doesn't really feel so new to me to be honest. Feels more like a mod for HL2, looks kick ass though.

and later they will anouce that this is a mod for half-life 2 and you need it to play - now that would be a great strategy Very Happy

the gameplay looks crappy.. either that or the guy playing TOTALY SUCKED.. and the reload animation suxx bad.. the melee looks crappy.. to little frames.. need more movement detail.. the graphics and scripts look cool.. though the explosive objects amount is a little bit over the edge.. and overused..

if they fix the animations and add a little diversity it will be the greatest source based game(except hl2)

This game looks amazing, will be the best FPS ever together with Perfect Dark Zero for the 360. I will surely buy all Episodes of this one!

deelix: It´s run with the HL2 engine and it´s released 2 years after HL2 so chances are that this is better Smile

i m not very happy with episodical content at prizes per piece. I d rather like to see a decent game for a normal price and then extra content deliverd for free.

I used to play SiN more than half-life back when both games were new. SiN may not have had as intense single player as half-life but god damn was SiN fun compared to half-life when it came to multiplayer. With out any bragging I was by far one of the best players as well. One postive thing about SiN not being sold as much as half-life is that all the players i remember were mature. Unlike 65% of half-life players... Anyone here happen to play at heat?

However I am very upset with ritual because everything they produced after SiN was garbage and when they started working with valve it was like a knife in the back to me.
I'm no fanboy of ritual I just hate valve that much. Looks like they still havn't changed either... I'm sort of scared to see the results of this new one. But I still kinda look foward to it.

Damn! Those were the days! I played HEAT 5-6 hours a night for almost 8 months! Then it died off Sad . I couldn't stop playing SiN MP. I was MistressDeath then too. What was your name on HEAT? Behind Zee Bookcase/Spree was my favorite. Other notables were SiN City, Greed, Gluttony and BioDome. There are others I cannot remember the name of right now. I loved the MP map with the warp doors. Cannot remember. Oil Rig was fun but not my favorite. I was great at rocket melee and sniping. What was the map with the 2 buildings right next to each other? Damn, I was so pissed at Ritual for stopping with Wages of SiN! I thought they were going to make SiN 2 for sure. They can still redeem themselves by making all the MP maps from SiN playable in SiN Episodes Emergence MP. It would be great to see them all upgraded to the Source engine. I have no problems with Valve as they have created some of my best gaming moments. I am upset with the fact that Team Fortress 2 proabably won't come out as it was just nominated for vaporware again! I remember Frightener and Lara Croft from SiN HEAT. I could never beat Frightener! I always thought he cheated. He would always kill me as if he was shooting homing missiles. I came close once but no cigar. I never cheated baby! Just pure MistressDeath/LadyDeath!!!

MD

I was known as MegaMan. Sin city was my favorite. using the spidermines to blow myself up to the roof tops and sniping away... Sadly by the time Heat died i was barely playing. last time i checked there were only 3 SiN servers left.. ones behind it patchs. The other is always empty and the last usally just has the admin playing. ( I swear he waits and watchs all day hoping someone comes on.)
