I can confirm the pretty terrible performance, not that it needed any confirmation 
@consolitis: indeed, I'm on the i5 2500k like Sabin and the framerate is averaging at ~30fps, which is still really bad, but somewhat playable (sort of).
The graphics aren't too impressive either so far (unlike the ones shown in the videos *tum tum*), pretty standard textures and effects, except for the volumetric lighting which is nice.
There isn't much to comment about the gameplay at this point, the only thing worth mentioning is that the physics-based puzzles seem to be mostly based on the concept of recording your moves/manipulating time, and using them at your advantage like a useful clone of yourself. I like the concept, but it really needs a lot of work and time.

If I understood it correctly, the new demo will be public. Fingers crossed they fixed terrible performance and 30fps cap.

It seems no one noticed or posted it but the updated demo has been released late September.

This looked extraordinary in 2012. It still looks good of course but the graphics can longer be its main selling point.

Thanks for the heads up, I actually had completely forgotten about this game (well, more like a rather ambitious idea for a potential game) so I'm not surprised that it never came to fruition. Oh well, time for the [RIP] tag!
