Yeah I noticed that too. I can confirm it wasn't motion blur.

Sadly. I would take update like that though Very Happy

It's still work in progress and a rumour (which Janz isn't allowed to confirm yet), but hopefully the Cinematic Update will see a first public release next year, ~Q2 Surprised

I am starting to think if it would be a good idea to go back to windows 7 or whatever...
I mean win10 is great and it works fast, stable and takes least amount of space on ssd but the security concerns, bloatware and telemetry are there.
On the other hand, win7 is a trash fire because they want You to not use it anymore so updating it would be out of the question and that puts it in risky position too.

ehhh probably best idea to just stay on 10 and accept that it's all going to nsa... keylogging, passwords and all kind of data. Not that I care much but it feels shady to say at least.

I just miss old days of simple windows system

@Leo - yeah I know there are ways to disable it. i might take a look at this. Probably a better idea to wait for new versions updated for creators update.

btw. I have a question about these 2 settings:
http://imgur.com/a/bG7ND

disable?

Doesn the Creators Update offer anything worthwhile?

I have it checked that all feature updates get postponed.
Just so some other boys can betatest it and increase the chances of me encountereing fewer bugs. Smug

Yeah they separated the svchost service "clump" into it's actual services so you don't see svchost taking up a lot of HDD activity but the actual process such as superfetch doing it's thing.
(Without having to use some third party software to see exactly which service is doing what.)

Only takes effect on systems with 4+ GB RAM I believe, doesn't really use that much more RAM though.

EDIT: And there are a few new ones too.

The two settings?

Letting apps run in the background allows UWP apps to run in the background, I prefer to disable it since they still start really quick and it saves a bit of system resources though you might still notice the system settings and store app running in the background after a while as they load in a inactive state where they consume barely any performance.

The privacy thing and most settings related to it I just turned off, I don't have a need for it and Win10 is already reporting all sorts of data back in regards to performance, troubleshooting and error handling along with compatibility and other telemetry, mostly non-personal info far as I'm aware though there are tools available such as the earlier linked to O&O ShutUp that deals with it more thoroughly.

Also noticed one more annoying thing.

There are no longer visible icons for image files in detail view.

Just formated the PC, windows 10 got all drivers on the device manager by itself andI only installed manually the soundcard and graphic card ones, should I install chipset, sata and such by myself? Or leave it to windows? By now everything works just fine.

SATA can be installed if you use RAID mode, chipset drivers from AMD might contain .sys drivers but the Intel ones just contain the .INF for component names and thus don't really do anything as it still uses Microsoft's driver for the .sys files. Very Happy

Network driver can be useful to keep maintained however and for USB3 and 3.1 Win10 already has native support so no need for drivers for that.

EDIT: Oh and Intel boards do use the MEI or Management Engine Interface for a few things, installing that might help or at least remove the yellow bank for it's device from the device manager. Very Happy
(And then there's just the usual with keeping the bios up to date unless it breaks something.)
