M. Night Shyamalan has unveiled a sequel to his films “Split” and “Unbreakable,” called “Glass,” which will conclude the movie trilogy.
The horror-thriller stars Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy, and Anya Taylor-Joy. Universal Pictures and Blumhouse are producing “Glass,” which hits theaters on Jan. 18, 2019.
I really have to watch Split. I still don't know what the twist is, other than
Spoiler:
that the films are connected somehow.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Bruce Willis is not even a straight to DVD actor anymore.
Sorry, this sequel should have been made earlier.
There are a few exceptions.. he was fine in this:

Its about Human beings that are gifted in some way, like Mr. Glass (Bad Gift) and Willy (as the Hero). Call it Evolution of Mankind.
In Splits endscene you see Willy in a Bar as they watch the News about the Inhuman Splitguy and some random person mentions that some years ago there was someone else who did evil things but they dont know the name and then Willy just says: Mr. Glass.
End
I think its a pretty weak connection they made between the 2 films.
not really, its a connection, its not designed to be weak or strong,
Spoiler:
it just sets both films in the same universe; sharing the same idea and understandings of what is humanly possible. OH, and allows for the conflict between brucey's hero and professor x's villain

Still a weak connection for my taste, its like watching Aliens and at the end you see someone mentioning the Teletubbies -.-
Sure they could build up for something like that between him and him, but from the Movie title "Glass" i think it will go in another direction.
each movie is titled to represent one of the core hero/villain characters. naming it glass simply completes the trilogy - i think its quite likely that
Spoiler:
glass and beast will team up (beast would respect the suffering glass has endured) - and that could very well be why its called glass - sammy l jacksons character would represent the ultimate in purity for the beast because of his suffering, and i could easily see glass, again only really understanding the world through comic-book terms, trying to set the beast on a path of destruction that would bring about his ultimate good vs evil battle when mcclane shows up to fight him...
i mean, as far as linking goes, the concept of suffering and purity.. good vs evil.. split fits quite nicely into the narrative that unbreakable started.
ugh, ye the connection was dogshit, 15 seconds footage all the way of the end, rofl u can make all movies tie in like that rofl ... lame grrr, but the movie was okayish

"oh no it had a twist at the end it's such a bad movie"
"critics say some of his movies sucked so it has to be true uhhh"
"duuuh this film is for derps, it had a twist, im better then anyone else uhhhh"
m night shalabdingbum had some great movies, some good movies and some bad movies, like mostly any film maker out there.
unbreakable was fantastic, so was split and seeing this trailer glass will also be good.
how was sixth sense bad?
after earth was pure dog shit.
the village, the visit, signs, the happening. all of them nothing ground breaking but they were far from bad and those are movies which i can watch anytime when they air on TV, doesn't matter how many times i have seen them. because they are nicely done, with great soundtracks, great atmosphere and nice actors.
The first reviews for M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass” are in and sadly the consensus seems to be it’s a disappointment. With thirty reviews counted on Rotten Tomatoes, the film sits at a 37% score and 5/10 rating. That’s far behind 2000’s “Unbreakable” (69%) and 2016’s “Split” (76%) with “Glass” serving as the trilogy capper.
Reviews indicate the film has moments of Shyamalan greatness, and a very committed performance by James McAvoy, but for the most part is muddled, poorly paced and spells things out far too much.
Just as I expected, McAvoy proves to be the gift that keeps on giving, but otherwise the film will be meh.
