A Tekken 7 Season Pass (available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, $25) will grant players access to three content packs aimed to extend the Tekken 7 experience and will include new playable characters, new stages, a new game mode, costume packs, and a bonus 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack. *Each DLC pack contained within the Tekken 7 Season Pass may also be purchased separately.
if the content packs include enough stuff which isnt missing in the main game 25bucks is fair. and seems eliza is only time exclusive for preorders so thats ok too (still wont prehurrdurr, will wait how the online part works and if they changed their mind about crossplay, iirc they stated blabla pc cheaters blabla, no crossplay because of that blabla). but imho if there is no crossplay its kinda useless to buy at all cause the pc playerbase of tekken might be very small)
A little bit over a month left but not fucking way I'm playing this on an Xbox controller. Is connecting PS3 controller on windows 10 still such a pain without downloading some Chinese malware? How do you connect it wireless(ly) - bluetooth?
Fully aware that you said PS3 controller, but I think there's an official connector/driver for at least PS4 controllers now if you wanted to go that route.
bt dongle + ds3 tool and activate the 360 controller emulation and you are good to go
but since the ds3 is shit either go for a ds2 + usb adapter which directly emulates it as 360 controller too (thats im using for mortal kombat for example) or get a ds4. as stooz said there is an official dongle now (which is basicly just an bt dongle)

You can use this one for the ps3 controller on Windows 10. Works great and it's free of any viruses or malware. I scanned it with malwarebytes and it's free of any threats.
I even use some ps3 Chinese imitation controllers that works just like a real Sony one but at like 15$ brand new with funky colours and the software sees it as a fake ps3 controller and sets itself to make it work nonetheless!
Bluetooth probably works too but I don't have a dongle to test it. I use the wire on front usb port.

The keyboard is actually the 2nd best option to a proper arcade stick, once you get used to it. you hit buttons with your digits, which is alot faster then with the thumb, similiar to an arcade stick board.
The only difference is that instead of the stick you use WASD, but since you can press all the buttons independently, you can even buffer many moves in a way you can't with gamepad or arcade stick, it's almost cheating to an extent.
only if the game allows proper remapping (LOOKING AT YOU CRAPCOM AND SFV!!!) and it always matters what game it is
street fighter yes, smashed everyone in sf4 playing with keyboard (but arrow keys and asdf for punches, yxxc for kicks and space for grab). you are faster that way than anyone. problem is you cant switch easily again to playing with an arcade stick cause there you use your left hand for the movement.
mortal kombat isnt really playable with a keyboard though (for me atleast). dunno about tekken, but might work well
True, I stopped playing SF5 on pc because I had to use global hotkey to remap everything externally, which resulted in twice the amount of keypresses, hence led to buffer overflows relatively fast with more complex moves.
I hope Tekken lets you remap everything properly.

"There was a video of a man’s dog being headlocked by a kangaroo, and he punched it in the face. It turned into a big problem," says Harada. "People were complaining about him punching a kangaroo. It seems that in the last few years there’s a lot more animal activists—even though they probably wouldn’t play our game they would still hear about that, about a kangaroo in our game being punched, and would complain about it."
Ya can change the topic's title , now that it's confirmed.
