It would be great to have a realistic(ish) approach a-la Far Cry 2, but judging from the footage and style overall I imagine the game will continue from the more arcade oriented formula of the third game, with the addition of planes, one-button melee from Primal and the Tarzanator-powered dog buddy.

I think the theme is awesome. IRL the US is overrun with religious fundies anyways. Right now the country is the laughing stock of the world. No better time to make a game where you have to go in and deal with the nuts.

But isn't the video above about physics rather than render? Normally in that kind of demos they don't give a shit about how it looks as long as the mechanics/physics (or what they want to show) looks appealing.
Does it look appealing to you? Do you live in a world where all grass fucking shimmers like there's a tornado happening right next to you? The physics on display in that video are ridiculous. Just like "realistic hair", where even the slightest head movement causes all the hairs to flap around like there's no tomorrow. Weightless, imprecise shit. It looks better when static.
Well it's not a big deal for me if it looks good or not. I haven't played anything on ultra-high settings for at least 5 years let alone enabling dynamic shit, so it's all same to me at this point.
