Wonder Woman - 7/10.

I enjoyed it. Good CGI, great action and Gal was okay. The premise itself was dumb as shit but nothing to do about that.

"light and love" supposedly is what works best against terrorist attacks, according to several Swedish politicians, so i guess this must be their hero, and perhaps inspiration.

agreed. Also clothes makes absolutely no sense since we all know where their "power" comes from, it's 100% sexual, even for super heroes Very Happy

Reviews from the last few weeks, from weakest to strongest.

Boss Baby 4/10 - Didn't like the animation, voice acting or the humor really. Sub-par overall but not terrible.
Great Wall 4/10 - Another failed fantasy action flick. No depth, uninteresting story, and even fairly bad CG for such a big budget.
Fist Fight 5/10 - Fairly average comedy. I didn't find it particularily funny or engaging though.
Logan 6/10 - Fun enough, nothing special.
John Wick 2 6/10 - Ditto. Weaker than the original.
Free Fire 7/10 - Quite an enjoyable little action/comedy movie, surprised me. But nothing spectacular.
T2 Transpotting 7.5/10 - Gets a good score for nostalgia sake mostly. I didn't think it had anything special and doesn't even compare with the original. But it's still a decent movie.
A Cure for Wellness 9/10 - I don't think I ever watched a movie that kept this engaged for its full length of 2.5 hours. I went in watching this knowing nothing about it and boy was I surprised. Tense all the way through, good acting, interesting premise and a thrilling mystery. Great soundtrack, great visuals, creepy characters. The movie didn't get stellar reviews but if you like a good mystery/thriller you might enjoy it.

Life of Calvin - 5.9/10

I was hoping this would be one of those movies that could finally provide a clever and somewhat refreshing take on the sci-fi genre, different from all the derivative attempts, perhaps with some neat surprises too in the middle. I got slapped in the head by a giant nope xD

Not badly made technically speaking, it's just that the inevitable predictability of the entire ordeal made me get drowsy instead of captivated, it did its own deja-thing without even trying to inject some thoughtful themes or deviations. They grow up so fast!

Yeah, exactly my feelings for Life. It just felt a huge drag once you realised what will happen (and you can't avoid understanding it).

You know what's even funnier? People being unable to stand their ground and cope with others questioning their "opinion" and not being able to reason why they chose to rate something as they did. "It's muh opiniona" is not good enough. Rolling Eyes

Yes it is. No one owes you anything. If it's his opinion, he is entitled to it. He doesn't need to explain anything nor stand his ground - it's not a debate to death.

Or people who really don't give a shit about having to justify their opinion to people they've never met.
I'm just leaving the number for my review. Didn't realise I had to be a fucking critic and give you a 3 page justification as well. Piss off.

Obviously you gave a shit when you got called on your bullshit "number" scores. Enough shit to get defensive about it and post a passive aggressive "You know what's funny" nonsense. You get over it; you post some bullshit online, people will call you on it. Fuck off.

All, also nice to drop a spoiler free sentence or two with the reviews.

John Wick 2: 6/10, This could have been higher for me if overall if the movie was shorter, the action scenes became comical for me which ruined it easily fixed trimming the film down 30 mins, outside that thought it was pretty enjoyable.

theres barely a plot so not really a spoiler, but may impede viewing enjoyment.

The movie where a de commissioned ship of veterans are just kicking about for convenient shits and giggles?
It's more about the fact I've never directly challenged anyone's scores I disagree with, just posted my own.
