The more they delay it, the better. Not because of "optimisation" but because people will need strong enough PCs to brute force it into playing semi-properly
BIG NEWS! Announcement Trailer out now! Kingdom Come: Deliverance comes globally on February 13th 2018.
Cool trailer, the delay is more than welcomed. There are plenty of games (RPGs) this year. I'd rather see this one polished giving it a better chance to be a financial success so we can get the other parts as well.
Eh plenty of developers have inserted themselves in their creations in one form or another although Ultima being from the 80's is a pretty early example so.

Gabe N could probably attest to that ha ha, looked up some photos from mid-HL2's development around 2002 and 2003 from interviews and compared to recent media.
Gabe hasn't gone full gray hair yet though, pretty surprising what with how busy things must be over at Valve especially these days compared to early 2000's when things were slowly starting.
Well it's highly individual with aging I suppose, and some people don't seem to age at all going by photos taken throughout their life.

Maybe that's how he feels inside... I know I still think I'm in my early 20's look or so.
@JB
Indeed, I had some grey hairs at the age of 18 already, runs in the family. My dad was a silver fox at 38. Me being 35 now I've seen that the past 2 years it has increased quite a lot so I'm heading there.
Edit: Probably going for crazy scientist hairstyle once I do
Yep, dad had actually lost most of his hair at 28 I think it was, I'm still doing OK in that regard for now (Take that genetics!) but the hairline is definitively higher up now compared to say 10 years ago.
EDIT: Anyways I guess that's drifting off topic a bit, will be interesting to see how this game turns out when it finally gets released in I think it's currently scheduled for mid-February next year?
(Dropping the episodic trilogy plan for a single large game thus the delays.)
...And figures nature had to make genetics complex as all hell, then again evolution and all that so no wonder.
(Though some disregard that theory entirely.)
EDIT:
Then again X and Y chromosomes and all that, half from each parent or some such unlike as was believed in earlier times one of the parents being more of a storage system.
EDIT: Just noticed the new trailer, voice acting feels a bit "off" or something but the game seems to be coming together nicely, shame the beta version stopped being updated but eh makes sense to focus on the main game instead of some separated build for testing and showcasing various features without the risk of story spoilers.
Should be the latest (and last.) public beta release but it would be pretty old by now and not very representative of the current progress of the game.
The Beta of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is more of a tech build and it gives the gamer an idea of what our game will be like – story, atmosphere, environment, combat, etc. The beta was released in March of 2016 and has not received an update since then (see below).
We are completely devoted to the final build of our game. If we were to make improvements to the Beta (better frames, less buggy, etc.), we would have to put less focus on the final version of our game, which would result in an even longer delay. It is important to remember that the Beta does NOT represent the current status of our game.
What we can tell you is that our latest build runs much smoother than the beta – FPS, colors, shading, far less bugs, etc. Also keep in mind that we have Dan Vavra (the Creative Director behind Mafia 1&2). Quality is of the utmost importance!

Dads play a small role in this regard. You should take a closer look at men on your mother's side like your mother's dad, for instance.
Nah, men in my mothers family are on the bald side. Men on my fathers side have plenty of hair. I have plenty of hair (and very little silver) and im in my forties now. So its not a rule.
Nice trailer btw. Hope they keep optimizing the engine.
