Yeah but gfx and sound these days is pretty much always gonna be amazing on AAA titles: its what's REALLY under the gameplay/features/day-to-day hood that really makes or breaks it.

EA announced today that a multiplayer beta for Star Wars Battlefront II is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this fall. Those who pre-order the game can access the beta early and gain instant access to Yoda's Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card.
Well, at least they can't fuck me over any worse than they did with the last game, where they replaced the beta's perfectly fine keyboard and mouse flight controls (like in Battlefield), with a forced gamepad joystick emulation in final release.

I wouldn't be so sure about Galactic Conquest being added in BF3. There's still a bunch of items on the list of player feedback that must be added in the meantime:
• true large scale battles (see Hoth from classic BF2)
• controllable vehicles (including AT-ATs + get rid of pathetic pick-ups)
• proper space combat (with spaceship infiltration)
• classes
• more maps
• make it moddable
• add bots
• add a SP campaign
... aaand, of course, the Galactic Conquest...

With the exception of the SP campaign, I am not sure which of these were - will be - added already, but seeing how superficial the reboot(s) are, I am not at all motivated to buy their game.
that mp footage looks shit, the game has an identity crisis, they tried to distance itself from battlefield so the result was a dull first game. now they try to bring the features back but still something dosent fell right, the gunplay still looks very easy and dull.
no season pass couse nobody will buy this pice of shit again. who are their target audience? i dont see a lot of young people, by the videos id say people in their late 30s playing the nostalgia card, that dude at the right side of the table at the conference was so cringeworthy i thought i saw them all.
sp again will be shit because dice never did a good campaign ever, trailers look good but so was for the other battlefield games.
i wanted a more rogue one aproach with more violence and not this pice of shit pewpewpew attack of the clones.
i guess this series is doomed from the start, the only real star wars game will be from the ex naughty dog director, other than that is just a waste of fucking time.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Will Have Microtransactions
