Quote:
In the Lira Constellation, light years from Earth lies a Broken Planet. Long ago, its inhabitants discovered a powerful ability enhancing substance called Aleph. Today, this Broken Planet is home to the entire Universe’s intergalactic scum and criminal lowlife. All are here to wrest control of the Aleph and thereby control the Universe.

Raiders of the Broken Planet is a Multiplayer Online Asymmetric Adventure: Fight the invaders teaming up with other Raiders, or turn the tables and storm into battle with those invaders fighting at your side!

With its distinctive blend of shooting, brawling and thinking man’s strategy, Raiders of the Broken Planet is a mouth watering proposition to gamers looking for an immersive, cinematic story coupled with intense and epic action.

MercurySteam is also announcing that it will be self-publishing the game as an independent for the first time. The powerful story driven narrative will be delivered episodically, with each part selling at an extremely low and attractive price point. A company spokesman commented “We saw an exciting opportunity with this title to take advantage of digital distribution and offer the game at a much lower entry point than would otherwise have been possible. This model also allows us to work closely with gamers to create something that they can help shape too.”

With this in mind, the company is planning multiple beta programs where players can get in early and help drive the games development. The new teaser site launched today allows players eager to get involved to sign up for the forthcoming beta program and find out the latest information on the games development.

not really sure what to think of it atm ... they call it "Multiplayer Online Asymmetric Adventure" , but at the same time they are saying there will be epic singleplayer story with great sense of adventure

@Bob Barnsen

It's the interpreter's voice Very Happy

I'm getting a bad "The Division" vibe from this game..+ it's gonna be episodic ..and they say it is episodic coz they don't have enough money to fund the whole game all at once. Laughing

They should have continued doing what they used to do..games like castlevania..Although castlevania 2 had a terrible level design and some really dubious gameplay mechanics..

The sci-fi cover shooter brawler launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at some point in 2017 with the Alien Myths campaign. This will then be followed up by three campaigns released throughout the year. These are Wardog Fury, Hades Betrayal and Council Apocalypse.

The idea, it seems, is that Raiders of the Broken Planet will be broken up into seasons, and so these four campaigns make up the 2017 season of campaigns.

Each campaign tells a parallel story and can be played in any order. They include new missions and new characters.

Some very nice and big buttcheeks were indeed seen.
But the tits were rather normal sized. Sad

Game starts in full screen and i'm unable to switch to the desktop or open the taskmanager, as the game keeps putting itself in focus again.
Therefore i'm not able to enable internet traffic for it via the popup of my firewall. Laughing

Uninstalled.

The game feels like the poor man's Warframe. At least at its current stage of development. Laughing

Raiders of the Broken Planet, the upcoming game from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Metroid: Samus Returns developer MercurySteam, finally has a release date.

The four-versus-one shooter will launch for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 22nd September via a free download containing two lengthy missions.

This free download will also include multiple characters and online multiplayer across four stages.

You can then choose to pick up the game's first expansion, Alien Myths, for a tenner. (That's £9.99, €9.99 or $9.99.)

Quote:
Three more campaigns will be released afterwards, and are playable in any order: Wardog Fury, Hades Betrayal and Council's Apocalypse.

Quote:
"We want to be a developer in constant dialogue with our audience and ethical in our dealings at all times," MercurySteam boss Enric Alvarez said. "Games are expensive and sometimes disappoint after all the media hype. We think allowing players to jump in for free is fair and if they like what they see, paying a reasonable price for more content is a better way to win them over."
