A bit of a shame that we missed some good ol' quality roasting this time around, but then again their stance is understandable, what's even the point anymore, it's superfluous. Sometimes words just cannot express disgust as much as a black screen does, and even bashing the movie would produce deja-vu and give it publicity. Such insulting Bayabortions deserve absolutely nothing.
The comments from Ridley Scott on Bladerunner . I've never paid any attention to Ridley's (retarded) opinion on Deckard, can understand how that's ruined it for some though.

The joke edits were pretty incredible, i'd never thought about the timing til this video etc. he's is absolutely on point in them not shutting up / timing any of the jokes. Same with the callout on the tech and that light saver reference "its a tool to be used in the service of the story, not a story element unto itself".
and honestly, bums me out seeing how rightly so disappointed Bill Murray is.
On the one hand Plinkett's reviews have become way less funny starting with his SW7 review and also spent too much time on some truly bizarre criticisms (who gives a shit about the product placement?????). On the other hand this review, as unfunny as it was, was still about 1,000,000 times funnier than the film it covered and it actually explained to me why I didn't like it (what I've seen of it anyway, as I couldn't stomach to finish it): I could tell I didn't like it because of how obnoxious it was, but I thought everything was part of the script. Apparently that's not the case. The director wanted the actors to largely improvise (which isn't that bad on its own) AND he showed no restraint putting all the failed jokes the actors made in it. I really can't blame the actors for this, if they were told to improvise and made 20 jokes per scene, and 17 of them are bad, but the director instead of picking 1-2 of the good ones, he picks 10 (with 7+ being bad) so that the film remains 100% loud and obnoxious from beginning to end.... WTF.
But I really like the special effects of the film extending past the 2:40:1 frame. I think it looks very cool.

Ugh, it seems WB are not only complete and utter scum in the video game business, but rotten pieces of shits in the movie market as well. I don't follow any movie related business-drama, but that contest's rules have some really fucked up provisions.
