you are aware that every country that accepts immigrants has programs to educate people wether it be language skills, employment skills and living skills.
It's not like these immigrants come in and just sit on their asses all day.

Yeah people often ignore the wrongdoings of other religions.
Once islam gets westernized, and joins $current_century you'll see the same... Picketing, protests, death to all gays etc...
It's at its infancy right now. It had no outside influence over the years.
Christianity did shit worse when it was in its infancy.
Right now it's in its teenage years.

islam isnt being westernized tho, theyre being told they can keep their shit and we are adopting our laws to their customs, not the other way around silly

What you call narrow minded is simply fact, a fact confirmed by statistics and studies - integration in Europe of immigrants has been a big failure (regardless of your precious programs which aren't even obligatory). The fact that every country seems to have a more extremist right party on the rise lately should be a bit of a clue but sure, go ahead and call people narrow minded if you don't mind hiding your ignorance and naivity. |
You forgot countries that have either very low or almost no immigration but which have a rise in 'extremist right parties' (aka the bigots and racists). But ohh well, don't let that little fact stop you from thinking the way you do.

the rise of the right has nothing to do with immigration/refugee crisi but the current socio-political climate.

i'm an immigrant. I learned English. I pay taxes. I have a job.
My brother in a law is an immigrant. He learned english and he pays taxes and has a job.
So does my sister. So do my parents. Guess what, they also have other immigrant friends who have followed suit. My highschool was filled with immigrants. My whole city is a cesspool of immigrants. Your little statement that immigrants don't want to do things is extremely falls and your stats and your data is shit. and not fact.
Also you are looking at short term benefits. You want instant results. You want the commie bastards to, the second the cross the border, have a baguette in mouth and parle vous francais.
It will take time. You have a majority of arrogant cunts who despise refugees coming in who may look for a job but not get it because refugee. Then they have to spend time to learn a language. Which learning something new is easier/faster for a child...
but you have stats from the past 6 years...

Not changing laws per se, but the interpretation and application of them (the so called 'spirit' of the law)
Noticable in things like separation between church and state (general leniency towards religious crimes and antisocial/amoral behaviour) and segregation of men and women.

Could you give a couple of examples of segregation of men and women due to muslim immigrants? Or just give an example of where a crime was committed and the penalty was lenient due to religious reasons. |

So according to the old man, the koran says its valid therefore you cannot change islam? Does that mean that christians never thought the same about the bible? Because clearly the bible is ignored by most and twisted by others today whenever it suits them.

there are groups that take bible for its word and they're assholes.
And christianity has not been reformed reformed.
It's just that as he said about the muslims in the west who choose which parts they'd rather follow and which parts not to follow.
It's still not being reformed.
It's just being a muslim by name, but not by religion.
Two different things.
People pick and choose what is good and what works.
They don't follow the full book. It's like that in christianity, catholicism, judaism.
There are so many "Jews" who are just Jewish by name, but they don't follow the book and don't really go into the whole church business.
Westboro is a good example of what christianity would be if it wasn't neglected and became in name only.

Much like Christianity and Judaism and other religions... it will take time for Islam to become westernized.
Reform is just a bad word to use in these things cause no religion has been reformed. They've all adapted to everchanging values. But never reformed... the bull shittiness in New Testament is still there, the violence in Old Testament is still there...
It will take time. Is all.

Muslims are very proud of the claim that the Quran was never altered with... So even if there would be a "reform", the majority will never deviate from what is written in the book itself. The only solution is more education. The only reason why I left Islam is because I started to use my brain and reason. And then there are muslims that don't follow a single thing that the religion tells them to do (except when they talk about how devout they are or maybe some days during ramadan) but complain about muslim girls dressing too sexy... Except they fuck every whore and every girl that is not disgusted by them. You will never cure such hypocrites by reforming the religion. Those uneducated brutes are the ones that create trouble in the first place. Not the old granny that follows orthodox Islam and keeps her religious views to herself...
