Evil. imagine this game 100 people open world.... 1 shot kill or 2 to be fair.... It wouldnt be fun, dying from a small spray from afar would really fuck this game up. It would be instant bullshit death from anyone with decent aim. It would mean extreme camping because u only need 1-2 shots and u dont wanna die either.
Nah. I prefer the current gameplay. Lets you fight back. Insta dying in this kind of game would be insane. Snipers do insta hs kill, let those be the only ones.

what harm does it do you if theres a harcore mode, a real hardcore mode that aint for 3rd person peeking arcadey kiddies, it makes NO difference to you. |

I wonder how the changes to the ranking system will work. I'm not in favor a leaderboard, I prefer leagues. But if they continue this way I hope the ranking is gets some proper adjustments so I don't end up losing dozens or hundreds of positions for one bad match.

The FOV option doesn't change the camera position which at the moment is probably on the character's chest.

Camera feels like it's on a swivel in first person mode, at least when looking up and down.
It doesn't turn around its own axis. Not sure if this is a problem with them still having the same 3rd person models.
Head bob is awful as well, everything just feels super janky, hopefully they can improve on all these things.

To each its own. First person mode is comming up and it will fix the 3rd person faggotery, but i would loooooooooooooove to see you play a battle royale game with high damage. If the tree hugging peps annoy you, i wanna see you in the HC damage model  |
3rd person bothers me, you know what bothers me more? example;
Im in position A
I spot a player in position B (he is unaware)
The other players is around a house/fence.
I have to sit there and consider the fact if I take a shot and tag the player with one or two shots, he doesnt die, he then knows my position as he jumps around and then hides behind a wall.
So I'm sat there in my position and he is sat there now in his.
So despite the fact, I got the drop on the player, despite the fact I hit him a couple of times, he is still alive and then we both just sit there.
That's what bothers me. |

I tried h1z1 but found it bad. Is this a big improvement? Might just try it, just moved country so would have to do some effort to fix steam paypal issue before I can play.

Agree 100% with you. Same thing happened in Arma 3 even when considered an Army sim, ive always had a beef with faggots who SPECIALLY camp with 3rd person.... I dont give a fuck if i find someone who stopped at a tree and saw me comming up, i do it too, fuck it. But people who CAMP places to use 3rd person specifically, like the Bridge. OMFG.... but i camp the exit of the bridge when i know campers were on the bridge.... pretty fun stuff.
Im about to test 1st person only right now. But i tell you, due to the nature of open world with a 360 battle, a high dmg model would piss a LOT of people off when people start using gay camping tactics to kill people from afar. There would be little way to counter such people. I love high dmg in games where the battle has a 180 deg focused fight (team spawns, not this game where you have 360 danger all the time) i take this stance because im playing Tarkov and dude its so fucking infuriating when a camping cunt on a bush is waiting for people to pass by and 2 shot kill them.
