Without combat it would be too boring. And despite it being rather simplistic I had some nice fights against groups of mobs.

Combat is not so nice once you know the game deletes your fucking savegame if you fail too much. I've died 3 times already in the first 4 or 5 fights Laughing

You probably beat ornstein and smough on first try without using your hands as well.

Another failed PC port.

I'd prefer a controller for a game like this myself. Especially with the stupid close FOV.

But no mouse support for a RTS or proper FPS would be a game killer

What my point was is that it's impossible to beat some of them in just a min or two. It'll take you that long just looking from one point to the next, then you'll have to find the target.

1) save backup

2) How come u died? I mean.. I really suck at melee combat in any game, especially in DS, but here it's really easy. Dodge, hit, hit, jumping hit, bullet time ,tatatatatta, enemy dead, dodge, dodge, kick to get shields down, hithithit etc.

One of the most beautiful game of the year yet ruined by clumpy gameplay, boring story. Utterly disappointed. Shift/deleted. I played 1h30 could really not force myself to play more.

he gave it a 1/10 and refused to give it a new rating after regretting giving it a 1/10

So basically he did one of those things he would bge pissed about and make a video about himself.

But yeah, kinda. I think he laughed at that derpGN prey 4.0 review, and now... what goes around comes around Laughing
But he actually liked this one save for that bug/glitch/whatever

So he "gave" it 1/10 because he encountered a bug but loved the game?

How does he scores any recent game above 1...

I watched his review yes but he already scored the game beforehand as he says himself.

How come ign gets shit for scoring prey 4/10 because of a game breaking bug later changing their score to a 8/10 and jim sterling doesnt?

ofc he got shit for it. Just don't think that the game broke him, wtf?
Every shit unity asset hackjob he reviews weekly breaks him more than this.

It's somehow weird if someone who fights against unfair and sometimes shady practices does something unfair himself. Kinda lost credibility.

If let's say some online mag now bombs a game with an unfair score he can't just be like teah they suck about it anymore etc.

In one of his hellblade videos he says that he had to contact metascore to get his score changed. Usually as far as i know (TB did talk about it in one of his co optionals) you can't change your initial meta score anymore so i guess he had to pull some strings here and there but it almost would ha negatively influenced the game itself. Metascorces are actaully "used" in the gaming industry as atool of measurement. (the overall metascore ofc)

Quote:
The score was removed. Jim's score went from 1/10 to unscored. Hellblade back to 81 from 77.

He lost credibility waaaaaaay back in 2014... maybe even before that.

Still makes quite a few good points and entertaining videos but on anything that's remotely "progressive" I just can't take him seriously(not that it's the case with hellblade).

Well, he might have had a bad day and done something he regret. If i liked his reviews, i wouldn't completely ditch or lose faith in him over 1 thing like this. If it continued however...

How's the story for anyone who completed it? Prob gonna pick this up anyways just because I usu like NT and found Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, and DMC very enjoyable even if they were a bit janky.
