If you're a fan of LOTR, you'll love the lego game, it's fucking AMAZING. Friend and I near pissed ourselves from laughing a few times. Both of the Lego Batman games are great too. I didn't really care about any of the other ones.
I read on reddit that this is open world? Is it very big? I've played a few Lego games and they weren't that great, but an open world one on PC sounds nice...
Na its not really big, its just a bunch of streets ina little city with skyscrapers, for sure no skyrim
I'm an hour or so in and so far it's a bit underwhelming. The classic lego humor is...way to forced. The other ones when they added voice were pretty funny or would at least make you smile, these jokes and one liners are just....generic as hell.
The levels so far are meh. There's a lot of "guessing" and forced breaking everything around you to figure out how to progress. Like those pipes over there, if you're not into collecting pieces, you wouldn't bother with the pipes because they are just ordinary looking pipes that you wouldn't otherwise care about but, break them and oh...it reveals something.
So far the characters are fun to play. I hate Fantastic 4, never been a fan of anything about them so just having that stretchy guy following me is irritating.
Spiderman, Iron Man, The fucking Hulk and Captain America are fun as hell to play.
IMO, Lego LOTR and the Batman ones are way superior in story and dialog.
However, totally worth the 20 bucks I got it for on GMG

EDIT: Then again if Superman is in there somewhere it could still be accurate, even the Injustive games rolled with the old cartoons and non-canon material having him as a mighty penis.
(Batman dies or has his identity outed, Louis Lane gets everything and a bit more done to him and Jim just gets fucked over time and time again whether it's non-canon or canon.)
But that might be more D.C's territory, alas.
