We recently spoke to Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter, and asked him about the successor to the PS4. Pachter believes that the PS5 will be backwards compatible with PS4 Pro (which also means that it will play base PS4 games) and it will probably release in 2019.
You know what the best feature of the PS4 is? I can plug my headphones in to my controller!? I've never seen this feature before. What a time to be alive! it's the age of tech marvels. I don't have to dick around with optical to 3.5mm converters and such

Besides HALO, nothing, I guess. Both Forza and Gears are already on PC and the upcoming Forza 7 game is releasing on PC too.

Nice machine, but Forza Horizon is honestly the only game that would interest me for this. So it's a no and a wait until the next proper generational leap for me. And I wouldn't pre-order anyway, on sound principles. Besides, from a more practical point of view I'm currently engrossed in a couple of games on PS4 and have a virtual stack of half decent unplayed stuff from PS Plus as well.
Will watch with interest though, especially for the more technical comparisons with PS4 Pro from the likes of digital foundry. Let's see how good this really is.
The biggest exclusives, haha what a joke. That's only PR talk. All their (console)exclusives after Halo 5 have flopped so hard... I don't even know why you should get an Xbox One at all as I would only buy it for exclusives, but for only a handful of games? No thx. Also no particularly new IP's that are worth it..Not interested in Halo, Gears, Forza etc.
And with their Xbox one X coming out, nothing new. Only diehard Xboxfanboys are going to get it. As I see no point in getting another console if you already have one.
I got an Xbox One S for 100€ a while ago and it was good for a nice nostalgia splitscreen coop trip through the Master Chief Collection.
I looked for a while but there's just not a single other game I want to play on that thing.
Looking forward to State of Decay 2 but that's gonna be on PC too afaik so....
