It seems a few days after the Survival update the game is nearly dead again.
Can't find a game for lvl 64 missions or level 15 survival for example.

Just finished a 14 day power 15 with just my girlfriend, our combined powerlevel is 23. Took around 4 hours, and was hard as heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell. Most fun ive had with this game, but the rewards kinda sucked, due to RNGeesus

The Battle Royale mode is interesting with the construction aspects of the game but I think they released it too soon to try to compete with Destiny 2 and all the people that are quitting to go play other games just due to all the RNG and llama progression issues that are still in the game. If they ever force you to play BR to unlock something in Save The World I think that will be the last straw for many of the players that got this game for PVE Co-Op action like it was advertised to be and not a BR clone which will probably end up the more popular mode.

I had a bad bug earlier tonight with the legendary soldier transform recipe that said max and then gave me an epic soldier instead. I sent CS an email and used the in game bug feedback but I am sure I will get the canned response, this is early access so expect bugs and there is nothing they can do. I guess this is the games form of karma for the bug that allowed the purple Centurion Hawk to be evolved into legendary but it is still annoying since I only have a couple of legendary heroes as it is and could have really used a chance at a good legendary soldier plus those transform recipes are kind of rare. The epic I got was not even a good soldier either.

Seems they already abandoned the PvE mode when i take a look at the patch notes.
Besides the classic "fixed crashes", which are part of like every fucking patch, nothing worthy there.

On October 2 when they add the Block Party event and turn off the Survive The Storm event I think that will be more of the PVE patch stuff.
With a week left on StS I still have not got Legendary Base Hype and that was really the only thing I wanted from the event so I hope I can get lucky as I rather not have to wait till they bring the event back to get that hero. I did manage to get the other 3 heroes in Legendary though, just not the one I wanted so far. I got a nice epic hydro launcher but again, no legendary version. Overall I did not get many legendary items from the storm llamas so that bitter sting of RNG strikes again.

Fortnite Battle Royale is F2P now, have not played it (or the base game their micro transaction shenanigans soured me) but some of my friends really seem to like it, might give it a go later but PUBG didn't really click for me so i don't really expect much from this either, at least the art style looks much more appealing to me though.

I wish this was a direct competitor to PUBG, because then Bluehole would be forced to work faster and better. But this is just an attempt to cash in on PUBG's huge success.
Fortnite doesn't have have what it takes to make a good BattleRoyale game. Its combat mechanics are somewhat clumsy, designed for a more comical game. But I guess it will be fine for casuals.

Just tried this, its like straight fucking copy of PUBG (not saying its original idea from Bluehole either), but still i can see why Bluehole is little salty. Anyway, will stick on PUBG, this is like retarded kid version of it.

The vice-president of Bluehole didn't express himself properly at first. The whole company is not so good on PR, but well, indie.. His base complaint is legit, Epic Games are taking money from Bluehole for the engine's license and now they are creating "competition" for PUBG. This is pretty much a conflict of interests.

Finally, conflict of interests. So essentially if someone makes a shooter in Unreal's engine, Epic is no longer allowed to create shooters cause it creates competition. Gotcha.
