Would DVDShrink let me retain the extras, the original menus, all the languages, and the subtitles of the original movie when going from DVD-9 to DVD-5? BEcause I have a few DVD-9 discs that are only used in needed circumstances.

OK, thanks!
P.S. If I used DVD-Shrink to decrypt the protection, would the DVD still work? BEcase it recommends using DVD Decrypter to do that in the DVD Shrink review.

DVD Shrink have imperfect decryption module. May not work. Decrypt DVD with the help of DVD Decrypter in "File" Mode. open the folder that contains decrypted DVD in DVD Shrink.

If you care about quality you should use something other than dvd shrink.
asus z170-A || core i5-6600K || geforce gtx 970 4gb || 16gb ddr4 ram || win10 || 1080p led samsung 27"

I don't care that much abot quality, but I do have some standards, because I don't want to educe it so damn much that it looks like a CAM. I want the menu to look just like the menu of the original. And for it to have the same extras, etc.

Nah Shrink isn't that bad. For ease of use it blows everyother program away.

Shrink is good for some things just try to keep the compression level above 80%. DVD-RB /CCE or HC are very nice, the best.
May consider getting VobBlanker to get rid of extras/warnings. MenuEdit to edit menus also adds a nice touch. Of course DVDDecrypter is the best tool to rip & burn, just make sure you don't let it check for updates.
Best place to go:
