I have 38 hours now and am currently recording my Legendary Playthrough with the High Elves.
All in all, I'm loving it.

Anywhere to get this fairly cheap for the US? All I see is EU on the key stores and I assume they are regional.

Take a better look. They aren't.
However, you're better off getting the isodemo for now. Game needs a lot of fixing.

Such as? The combat orders bug obviously needs to be fixed, but what else? Or are you just talking generic issues with the franchise as a whole (that will never be fixed)?

There are some bugs yes. For instance, Siege battles are not always shown as such, but
"The battle takes place outside of the settlement", even though they don't (you can even see so when you scout the terrain).
Not big of an issue when defending, but when you are the attacker, you cannot build siege engines lol.

Never had that issue so far
That sounds fucked.

Wait, I don't think that's a bug. Might be intended. I think you get straight up "Siege esque" walls in minor settlements now when you upgrade them with maxed walls. Not sure though if it's supposed to allow you build siege equipment or not though. Might be a bug in terms of that, but not necessarily.

That battle in the clip above took place in the "Eagle Gate", that's not a minor settlement.
And the issue is, that neither you or the AI can build siege towers or battering rams. So unless you overpower them and have a catapult or something, you're shit out of luck and have to either
a) lay siege for 10 turns and hope they either give up or attack
or if you're in a hurry
b) just run at the wall and use ladders and cross your fingers ^^

Nevermind then. That's a really strange bug then. I don't understand why I didn't have this so far at all. I just vaguely remembered that they did something new with the buildable walls with WH2 so I assumed it's related to that. Really fucking weird.

Maybe you just didn't notice. From now on, always check, what it says in the pre-battle screen and let me know.
PS: I am using legit version, so it shouldn't be anything crack related ^^

I'm on legit version too. I will keep an eye on it. It's absolutely possible that I didn't pay attention to it since I kinda gave up on building siege equipment with WH1 already. Usully just climb and smash gates with monsters/heroes/lords/arty.

No, I'm talking specific WH2 issues. I like the franchise (some asshole here even dubbed me a fanboy, which I'm not, but anyway...), but there are some glaring faults with this game.
For exampe, my Doom Engineer blew himself up at a city, and even though he succeeded (of course...), when I laid siege to and attacked the city in the very same turn, all of the walls were intact, although even the settlement info panel stated otherwise... This was quite a bummer, as I thought I'd just gallop into the city.
Another issue I had last night was that I cleared a town of its garrison, but sacked it instead of rainzg or occupying it. The following turn, a small enemy army entered said town, so I thought I'd go back and kill them too, no problem. I did so, and the garrison had respawned with full force and health... :-\

I stopped playing after a few hours because of random bugs, most of which are mentioned itt. Just became too annoying... but I look forward to revisiting it when they fix them all up and mixing in some cool mods.

I like the game so far but i think ill play on a higher difficulty later on once they patch the game a bit.
Bug? Exploit?
Spoiler: | I dont if it is intended or it is a bug or an exploit but i leveled my heroes fast by attacking a settlement, sacking it, ending the turn, sacking it again and then doing it all over again. Heroes level fast, you get all sorts of loot and hero perks. |

It's not a bug, but it's a typically considered fairly cheesy though. It's probably something that Obsidian's anti-fun rules lawyer Josh Sawyer would label "degenerate gameplay".

Yes, because that's such a fun rule/mechanic...

Tbh tho, a settlement that has recently been sacked, shouldn't give any xp for at least a couple turns.

Don't hold your breath, it's practically 2 weeks away.
Dunno about legendary, but on hard, the game's quite okay. Something's still lacking, though, I dunno what. Perhaps a more active AI would do the trick.
