The environments look good. But only after you put the Sharpening option to 4.0 and are using TSAA for example. Without the sharpening i was like Shocked at how blurry the whole image was.

The textures on characters, especially faces, still look like mud though.

Everything looks like mud. Sharpening does get rid of some of the shit they put on purpose to cover, but that's pretty much it.

Anyone has been experience problems with alt tabbing? I had to switch user multiple times because the game just got stuck after alt tab and there was nothing I could do.

Use Geforce 388.10 drivers. Seems to fixed the crash problem for me. Though i didn't really alt+tab out anyways since i first launched it and was still fiddling with the graphics options.

So, i just dropped into the mission in the city/swamp area.
Before that i got the ability to decipher Enigma messages for assassination missions. Looking at those missions they seem to add quite some content.

How much of the main game have i finished yet?

Also FU @ that earlier fight in the court. Mad Laughing
Had to reload like 30 times.

Played on same difficulty and they where hard, but I managed to kill them. Thanks to quicksave, it wasn't that hard, but took some heavy fucking firepower. And once I got one of them down, I knew I could take the other one Wink

And if someone cares:
You can farm the perks by just reloading a savegame. The process gets carried over.

Yeah just like the first game only this has free save/reload making it much easier while the first game was checkpoint based (which sucked imho)

Well, and finished after ~8 hours.

The first 3-4h were basically "Coraline" every few minutes. And then BJ acting like some weak emo for no reason.
Only after that the story got somewhat better - though still not by much.

There were WAY too many (boring) cutscenes for a game like Wolfenstein. When i play a Wolfenstein game, i expect fast and brutal action - not a game that tries too hard to be serious or emotional.

Gunplay was okay, but also way too few different and fun weapons. And the mods were often useless too.

Also i bet next game we will play as one of the unborn twin kids from BJ.

6/10

// Again props to the chosen german voice actors though. And also the Hitler mission was pretty fun. Very Happy

// While the textures itself are not that good looking, the scenes itself often look wonderful thanks to all the details:

The voice actors are pretty good, even though sigrund is clearly spoken by a american but besides that the german voice actors were mostly spoken by native germans

I kinda love the graphics and overall atmosphere.
But in terms of gameplay this is a let down compared to the New Order: enemy AI is plain stupid not taking cover and all of them run into you as soon as a commander raises an alarm. They have perfect aim and you get very little feedback when you get shot. Quite often I insta die without even realizing who was shooting at me (I play on hardest difficulty setting for the record). I don't recall such bullshit in the New Order - hard difficulty feels really not rewarding at all, forcing you to play overly cautious and camping behind crates, which is IMO counterproductive in terms of fun in a wolfenstein game.

Aiming and gun handling is rather satisfactory, although weapon sounds are really bad and too weak.

I actually find myself caring about the story in Wolfenstein The New Order and Wolf II. I usually hate long cutscenes (Max Payne 3 Vomit ) but I enjoy them in Wolf II. The acting is done quite well

Collected everything...fucking everything, that took time. Laughing

Still got a few side missions left, but then that's it. Nice game though, the start was kind of a bad choice imo. Like some said it was too serious, but it got better towards the end. Smile

Definetly worth the money in my book.
