VMprotect already cracked the hell and back before... Hope it won't take long as both STEAMPUNKS and CPY already dealt with that in the past and both collaborate with CODEX

Analyzing the exe obviously someone put a VMprotect "layer" on top of Denuvo, could have been Denuvo itself or UBI (they allrdy had creative approaches like that bevore in the past). The VMP layer makes it difficult to reach Denuvo code atm.

I gave in and bought the game.. But why is the performance so bad? getting 50-60 fps with very high ( not extreme ) on my rig...
System: i7-8700k @ 4,4ghz | AORUS 2080ti XTREME | 16gb RAM | 500gb SSD | 1TB SSD | Windows 10 |

Revolt: 'About AC: O, one guy at cs.rin.ru send me the binaries of the game and asked me which version of Denuvo the game uses, so I decided to take a look. I found it very strange when I saw that VMProtect layer over Denuvo only because Denuvo dropped VMProtect early this year. I thought it's some desperate move by Denuvo but it seems now that Ubisoft could have implemented it themselves, tanking your game performance by a lot, especially if they hooked Denuvo and VMP to time-critical functions of the game. So, if you have high cpu usage while playing the game, this is reason.
It seems Ubisoft simply does not care about you nor your gaming experience.'

Seems about right, CPU usage is pretty high, outside the city I get 120+ fps but in the city it drops as low as 48... thank god I didnt pay that much for that shitgame.

And it had to happen with the only crapssassins game i was actually wanting to play... oh well. Worst case scenario it will be cracled a few months down the line, I can wait.

Ubisoft might not care about their consumers, but the fact is that the game is currently uncracked, which leads to sales which in their book is a success.

You just login in Uplay with the bought credentials and start playing?

Rather simply and the as u mentioned.
U buy the account and an automated tool return you back the credentials to login in uplay; u can download it, if u didn't preload, or simply checks the files.
It's also common that the account u receive it, has some other games in it.
I did it, and the account still active but none will guarantuee you how long it will work  If u really can't resist go for it, but this sh**t runs like hell due to this VM implementation along Denuvo.
I'm just curious when the cracked or "proper" one  comes out, checks the tons of videos and relative claims for the change of the total performance  |

Denuvo seems to heavily impair performance, so that specific information is worthwhile.
