Hah yeah you got into a fight early on and it would be a problem due to the amount of guards that were coming for you, later on with counter moves and other upgrades it's less of a problem unless it's one of those armored knights.

Hiding among those monks was a bit silly too (It's the one with the sword!) but if Ezio can hide in a group of female street workers well I guess the monks work too.

Yes. Nobody knows how much performance, if any, is lost. In the past, cracking or outright removing Denuvo has done little to no performance difference in games. People are assuming it's the protection scheme to blame here, but it might as well just be a horribly coded game.

The evidence pointing to the movement code calling the denuvo code, and that there's a VM inside a VM, suggests in this case it likely IS having a detrimental effect on slightly lower spec rigs - which really isn't on.

Seems retarded to laugh at something like that, when such CPUs are pretty exotic and Ubilol even offers a clear workaround for it.

It's funny, that Ubi$shit immplement fucking VMprotect, and people have problem with fps because cpu like i5 and other they lose it performance.

But it in the posted link its about a problem with 32-core CPUs. TBH i'm even surprised they offer support for 28-core CPUs. I bet most other recent games don't even utilize more than 4 cores / threads even.

While Ubisoft is doing questionable things at times, make jokes about something like that is just dumb.

Well if you look at past versions of Denuvo protected games like v3 or v2 the early games took couple of months to get cracked so one can only assume it will take this long.

Anyways after watching the video posted on previous page ("worth a buy" I think) it made me not give a s*it about the game tbh. I'm happy with ELEX and MoE:SoW and couple of other games I have backlogged.

So be patient I guess Smile

Its been disscussed to death before... the problem is more of the VMP part then actual Denuvo.. and it's more of Ubi putting it themselves rather then comes with the new Version of the 'D'...

We’re confirming that the anti-tamper solutions implemented in the Windows PC version of Assassin’s Creed Origins have no perceptible effect on game performance.
In order to recreate a living, systemic and majestic open world of Ancient Egypt, where players can witness all of its stunning details, its beautiful landscapes & incredible cities, in a completely seamless way with no loading screens, Assassin’s Creed Origins uses the full extent of the minimum and recommended PC system requirements here: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1759689 while ensuring a steady 30 FPS performance.

Kudos to Ubisoft. They stopped piracy from touching their big blockbuster game and are raking in the profits without taking fire for using DRM.

You know, they could kinda save face by removing the DRM after the game gets cracked. That way we could see that there is no performance loss. Unfortunately, Ubi doesn't really do the "remove Denuvo" thing Laughing

Apparently, a support guy told someone from the official Ubi forums that the high CPU usage is a known bug and will be addressed in a patch (without removing Denuvo presumably Laughing ), so that will be interesting to watch. These support chats are usually very unreliable though.

Yeah, I'm sure Deepak who's sitting in Bombay, scratching his balls while making 30 cents an hour is privy to such information.

They just want to give you an answer you'll find satisfactory, pass time until work is done, then go home and fuck their 2/10 wife by arranged marriage.
