I am enjoying the game very much, playing on my own pace, just really taking it in.
Today i came home, and logged in and saw i'm suddenly lvl 40...
My nice little nephew decided to download a trainer and used some kind of xp gain.
So, now i'm sitting here, not really wanting to continue cause, well I outlevel everything, which sucks.
So i'm looking for someone who is/was around my level and area.

ok, so i was lvl 23, just started the next quest to kill the 3rd target of the new 4 targets.

I just entered the new city where I had to talk to someone to start hunting the new target.

Was there manual saving? Or am I mixing it up with some other game.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\NAME\ (Unique UPlay ID.)
That folder has all the games on your UPlay account or rather their save games, sort them by date and you should find the AC:O folder. (4923 for the Steam version by the way.)
I do it because I don't trust save files and risk of corruption even with cloud saving off but manually backing them up after each session would allow for restoring data.
Aside from that Cheat-Engine perhaps if it allows for editing levels directly, no idea how the game will handle forcing a lower level though if at all possible since much else ties into leveling and who knows what else that trainer (Fling I guess?) could have done to the game progression.
I'd start over, keep back-ups of the save data and just accept that the initial play-through progression is lost but yeah it sucks especially when there's not much you can do about it short of going to extra lengths such as physically copying the save data.
(Multiple in-game profiles might not work, editing the data could have consequences too if you do decide to try Cheat-Engine.)
EDIT: Checking on the Fearless forums there doesn't seem to be a CE table for experience or level editing, Fling trainer has that easy XP option (One level per kill or XP gain in general I guess.) but reversing it seems to be impossible at the moment.
Wow... I just looked at the CPU usage.. that's insane. Performance has GOT to be affected, I can barely get 50fps on ultra settings, only just over 60 in the village on high.
Ridiculous, but I bet Ubi release a patch to 'improve performance' in about 2-4 weeks from now.... then they'll bask in the adoration of their customers...

I swore to the holy fucking godfather of gaming I wouldnt play Assassins Shit anymore but this one seems fresh and fucking good with fucking Egypt flair so hell if I say no to that. Can i ask , since the problem is the VM , i think CPY were only one who managed to bypass it right?Can anyone remember a game with VM how many days it took ? Like anyone think in less than a month its an ok period to calculate for waiting ?
It's copy protection burrito, They are willing to let the paying customer suffer just that a pirate will not be able to play. this corporates are insane.

Are there any good HDR monitors available for PC at the moment? I thought theyre due for release Q1 2018? Was just reading an article on AOC AGON AG353UCG, looking forward to getting one myself.
Is HDR such a big deal? I'm thinking of buying a 144 monitor with gsync
HDR is not vital if you ask me. My TV has HDR and most of the time I barely notice. I think most people who cry about how great it is, moved from a crappy old TN panel TV to a HDR one. My gaming monitor has a similar quality and doesn't even have HDR. On top of that, since not that many programs and games support HDR, it's kind of wasted for now. 144 and gsync is far more important.
