Did anything really happen in the comics in the meantime? I quickly went over a recap of the latest issue and it seems they are still stuck at the same places, with mostly the same people as in the TV show currently. It sounds like its gonna be the same crap at least until Season 10+.
Comics are far along... its all going according to plan but, obviously, the TV series cannot be completely 1:1 as then WTF is the point -- you can just read and spoil it so I am glad there is some variance.

Last episode indeed was just the same crap consiting of badly done action scenes like the previous two.
Also the scripting is getting more retarded with each episode and actions by some characters don't make any real sense anymore.
- For example Daryl headshotting everyone suddenly and ignoring what Rick wants to do.
- Morgan acting like some wierdo that can't even destroy that hippie Jesus anymore
- Also so much screentime for that gay couple. Who the fuck really cared about his loss?!

A marginal improvement on last week but ultimately disappointing. It annoys me how easy it is to pick faults with this show.

So for this entire season they were doing this A-Team thing: spitting out a bulletstorm in all directions but hitting fuck all. But now suddenly two machine guns completely obliterated and entire army in a single salvo, because being a machine gun it of course has a magical +100% hit chance buff (high ground bonus must be really OP in their universe). And then it all suddenly got back to normal during the chase sequence, where they had a lot of trouble hitting a bigass jeep breathing up their butts.
Then there's a complete inability of the king to get over minor obstacles cause his leg is fucked up...
Splitting a man in half with an axe is no big deal, but giving someone a boost over chainlink fence is obviously beyond the abilities of mere mortals.
This got complete fucked up in the forest, where there was apparently no time at all to get the guy over chest high moderate elevation, triggering nearly a 40-second uninterrupted speech on how he doesn't deserve to climb this hill, only to climb up it in literally 5 seconds when the kitty cat got eaten.
I kinda got used to the lazy writing in this, but they are really taking it to the next level now...
