Shortbow.
IE the SMG of ancient Egypt. With flaming arrows.
EDIT: Doesn't count if it doesn't kill either, stab farmers, burn their crops and houses and even their pets (Pets don't count at all if it's not a cat though.) but as long as no lives were lost you're still everyone's favorite Medjay of Egypt.
(Children are immortal...but still feel pain.)

This was the most fun I've had in a AC game since revelations. The world they built here really felt alive and the scenery was gorgeous so the pause in pushing out the sequels was actually a good idea which I hope they'll stick to.
The only real issue I had was the god damn audiobug, which after a while for some unknown reason the audio would produce some sort of weird crackling of some sorts (would become apparent when whistling for my steed) and it still wasn't fixed in the patch that came. Ohh well...

I think it's a typo as in the description it says "Assassin's Creed Origins: Nightmare Pack DLC | Trailer | Ubisoft [US]".

Is this worth 35 bucks at this stage? As a reference, the last AC I really enjoyed was AC2.

From how you describe the game, i would have expect something like a 5.5/10, now a 7.5/10. |
The things is, I thought the story would be at least decent, but it's far from it. The appearance of the apple as a relic is no different that the other artifacts in Black Flag, Unity or Syndicate. It's embarrasing.
I understand that this game is about the birth of the brothehood, but there's nothing compelling about the narrative and it's missions -which most times force you to do meaningless secondary quests to gain level.
It's not a bad game for newcomers, but for AC fans, it offers nothing new in terms of gameplay. Combat was supposed to be fun and challening, and it isn't. The bow is way too overpowered and the melee combat system gets repetitive fast.
No proper traversal gameplay as in catacombs as in the Ezio trilogy. No puzzles whatsoever. Investigation missions are the same old shit. Scan an area with your vision and search for the clues highlighted. So much for Witcher 3-like missions.
Graphics are indeed nothing short of amazing, but that's pretty much it. In short, the game, in my opinion, is a colorful digital tour throughout Egypt.

Yes. It also depends on what you are looking for. It's great in terms of value. A sheer amount of content and exploration with amazing detail. However, the story isn't great and of course, the game does have all the Ubisoft elements. No collectables but plenty of side activities to do and explore.
None the less, $35 is a good price.
