Because different blood types "like" different food more, so you can't just assume such drastic diet will work positively in general. Also, present human genetics is shaped, among other things, by hundreds of thousands of years of eating animal protein (which you still can eat via milk products and eggs). Plus, milk products such as yogurt have active bacteria cultures acting as a probiotic and repairing your digestive system, I don't know what replaces them in vegan mode (maybe plants with lots of fiber but it's not the same).
That's not fully correct. Compared to the history of humanity (the modern man is between 150.000 and 200.000 years old), dairy products are fairly new to our diet. We only begun to drink milk less than 10.000 years ago. Hence why there are still a lot of lactose intolerant people.
Bacteria in yogurts aren't really all that helpful either, they exist naturally in our intestines. That's just commercial salestalk, really.
I don't want to start this discussion again, but humans aren't made to eat raw meat. Our teeth, stomach, intestines, etc are all shaped for a mixed diet consisting mostly of vegetables, nuts and fruit. And then some cooked meat to finish it off. But the fact that we need to process raw meat first before we can eat it should indicate something about how natural it is for us to eat it.
I don't think veganism is necessarily unhealthy, it all depends on how you approach it. You can't just drop meat and dairy food without replacing it by something that gives you comparable proteins and vitamines. The same can be said about any diet, really. Except a meat-only diet
I could never become vegan, because it requires so much work to buy and prepare food, as almost all products contain some form of dairy product.
Also the first time I hear that the blood type has anything to do with how food is processed

Think I'm gonna give veganism a shot just from what you said, I have read multiple times before, and just other research and information that has come out lately from all around the world. I've also read about protein, there has never been a case of protein deficiency it seems, its fiber that you really need in your body.
Fish is meat that we can eat raw with very little processing, but we are over fishing the seas. And alot of humans did survive without meat, so I really want to give it a shot and see if it does have the health benefits that I've read about.
I would assume that the best diet for a human would be mostly grains/nuts/veggies with fish to finish it off.

From what I've read about protein, and how our body converts animal protein for us to use is very insufficient. Think about a cow has three stomachs just to eat grass so it can become 3000 lbs. So you are just filtering the grass' protein from the cow into your system. From research eating spinach and kale or even nuts will give you better protein, and your body converts it to protein much easier then ever. And the more I see "the strongest man in the world is vegan!" articles the more Im starting to believe these kinds of research and studies
As for years and years of eating animal based protein I don't think that's true either, I'm pretty sure this agriculture dairy meat eating has come in the last 10,000 years as Padrino said.
I think you misunderstand the point, as, the reason vegans go vegans is because they believe humans are herbivores and not omnivores and the studies that show this also show how meat in general is just terrible for us.
I'm not sure whats right or whats wrong, but as for processed foods, whats your definition of processed? that would mean most meat. beef/pork/chicken and dairy/cheese products are all processed before they hit shelves for the most part. Especially pork. Such as bacon/sausage etc.
I personally don't believe going vegan is an extreme especially as Padrino did say we are mostly herbivores teeth/digestive system. Because I know at least I think I know? that no one here would kill any mammal and eat it raw.
For me personally, if we don't need meat to survive. Then we shouldn't really eat as much meat as we consume, I understand you did say balance and you're not apart of the average human on this world. But the amount of pollution that agriculture produces sure does make you think the direction we are going in this world. Dosn't seem to positive.

Fish yes. I said that earlier, some humans can digest red meat when its freshly killed but most humans would get sick. But pork and poultry absolutely not, it makes humans terribly sick. If im wrong, please go purchase a piece of pork or poultry and eat it raw on twitch or youtube for us.
First off I never talked about eggs, and also I did say alot of people can eat raw beef, not all. second off those "raw dishes" aren't really raw. That meat is processed, smoked, cured, then salt/vinegar on it to preserve it. then addition preservatives are added before its put on store shelves, typical ground beef/beef in general has red dye in it before they even put it on the shelves, back to what I was saying about what is your definition of processed foods. But hey, what do I know right? I'm just talking out of my ass.
Like I said, let me see you eat unprocessed uncured raw pork/chicken. Then come back to me before you start telling me im talking out my ass. I was just trying to have a discussion, not an argument. But people always want to try to bust peoples balls when they discuss something that could possibly be true, and they are unwilling to admit it.

I don't know how this discussion ended up with raw meat. Men discovered fire at least ~300,000 years ago. They also use it for roasting meat.
I think it came to that because I said we need to process raw meat (cow, pig, chicken, ... not fish, per se) before we could properly digest it, as an indication it isn't a natural source of food for us. Sure, you can eat raw meat, a lot of times without problems. But there's a very high risk of getting worms. That's why carnivores have much shorter intestines, so that the meat is out of the body before the worms come
@xDBS: very cool that you're interesting in become vegetarian or vegan, even. I've been vegetarian for over 25 years, and never had any health problems because of it. Going vegetarian is very easy now, there are lots of meat-replacements in most supermarkets. And, if you don't eat a lot of meat anyway, you could just drop that element of a meal and still eat healthy enough (which was pretty much the case for me).
Going vegan is harder, because they put milk and eggs in a lot of things and you really need to put effort in making a meal. Maybe it would be best to do that in collaboration with a dietist or something.
Feel free to pm me, always nice to see someone coming to realise we don't need to kill animals to eat well.

Edit: I want to go ahead and expand on this, I've been pescatarian (just eat fish) for awhile now can't even tell you how many years. I always thought killing mammals, and eating their flesh was gross. And especially being around animals and seing they have a consciousness I never really...wanted to eat meat growing up and did stop. Never really told many people due to the stigma, and yes, this girl I'm dating is maybe helping with this choice, but when you find out how cows are treated in the milk industry, and how they practically rape the cows with a fist and take their babies from them as soon as they are born, kill the males, and you see a cow cry.
I dunno, call me a pussy, call me a hippy. It's just not right.

Also carnivores naturally produce high amounts of vitamin C which can kill worms/bacteria that we cannot.
Yes, I think I'm gonna go straight and try vegan. Taking eggs/dairy out completely and see how that goes. We have a vegan restaurant near here. I literally just ate a quarter ponder with cheese and tasted no difference, I feel 100x better then I would then eating a greasy burger. But, I was so curious that I had to try it. I personally want to try eating healthy period. My girlfriend got this raw zoodle pasta with this pine nut marinara it was incredibly delicious.
Never was much of a fan of beef... and on the past three years I ditched most of the pig related stuff (eat it maybe 3-4 times a week). Mostly on poultry meat, pasta and derivatives and your usual vegetables/potatoes/whatever is on most soups out there. And no issues with killing chickens if I have to!
They're also incredibly low maintenance, food leftovers were more than enough back in the day.

So, I guess day 1. Vegan Starto.
So you have no feelings when you watch Finding Nemo?
And on another note....what is your take on lab grown meat?
No I have feelings when watching finding nemo butthead
I think lab grown meat is a great idea honestly, it possibly can be very sustainable hopefully they are able to perfect it in the future. Not everyone is going to want to stop eating meat, even if it turns out it's terrible for you. so we gotta figure out sustainable ways to get it! so yeah lab grown meat is pretty much the next step.

Eating Animals, by Jonathan Safran Foer is an excellent book. He was in more or less the same situation as you (but with a baby instead of a girl ). My girlfriend became vegetarian after 80 pages https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6604712-eating-animals
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
