Hi guys I was gone for a while because my CPU was almost fried, the cooler didn't work anymore
I managed to fix it by buying a new cooler and spending some other costs...
Did any of you guys fry a part of your computer ?

I once worked on a computer that had the heat sink Velcro-ed onto the CPU. Of course the CPU fried.

'Killed' a dvd player while trying to update firmware.
Don't most mobos have a cut-off temp that you can set in the BIOS?

AHAHAHAHAHAHA !!
I killed a cheap Logitech mouse because I tried to modify the scrollwheelstrength-thingy with a screwdriver and ripped off a cord or something.

2x mobo's
2x Athlon XP's due to too high overclocking with badly mounted cooling (burned cpu's smells great!)
2x sticks of ram because of too much voltage (TwinMOS BH-5 overclocked like hell until I gave them 3.9v)
3xhdd (30gb, 160gb, 120gb)
CD-burner
DVD-burner
9700np (overclocked too much again and with too much voltage to the gfx ram)
that should be about it...
Behold his GLORY! Bow for the technical master!

I was very close to frying my current CPU..
Was working on my pc, and i had obviously accidentaly unplugged the CPU-fan power.. So i used the pc for 1-2 hours w/o a fan.. when the pc refused to start after a reboot, i checked and the case was VERY HOT inside. So i turned it off, waited and prayed.. And thank god nothing was broken..
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc
