oooh.. i get it. never even thought about that. thats why they shortened the season episode count.

they can still make however many hours of story.. but by trimming down to 7 eps and then 6 in the last season i think it was, theyre saving millions by not having to pay the actors for those extra eps. they still work as hard, and shoot as many scenes, just get paid about 3 million+ each less than they would have just for the two main asshole characters.

Yea no, that's not why.

well it sure isnt because the quality of the writing or story has improved by condensing it.

Quote:
The HBO hack that gave 'Game of Thrones' fans a tantalizing taste of unaired Season 7 episodes has a culprit: A former Iranian military hacker who was in it for the money.

U.S. prosecutors charged Behzad Mesri with stealing material including scripts to 'Game Of Thrones' this summer, saying he demanded $6 billion in untraceable digital currency as extortion.

"Animations" is a bit of a stretch, no? It's still pictures with some zooming..

there is also something similar but with some of the actors speaking to stills.. saw it a few months ago.

Its decent for what it is, but its not an animated movie or anything..

(edit: ah, maybe this is what i saw a while back.. i just quickly looked at it and didn't hear any of the actors speaking..)

Good. Take yourself some time. Take a look at season 7 and do not repeat what you have done there. Instead write a better script Mad

Yea that won't happen, viewership of last season proves that nobody cares about the writing anymore.
After so many years everyone wants to see how the story will end, and I admit I will watch the last season even if they hire Zoe Quinn to write it.

Yea.

Yea I think I still would watch it Crying or Very sad

Yeah I never understood 4K for TVs. 24fps at 720p is all you need at 2m from your TV.

You're not wrong, but at the same time if you're a PQ and audio buff like yours truly, you tend to appreciate the bump on quality. I have a 42" 1080p TV and let me tell ya, 2m away I can see the difference between 720p and 1080p

It depends on the screen size but yes, overall its true unless you have a really damn big tv.
For a distance of slightly above 2 meters you already need atleast a 60" 4k TV, otherwise you are wasting money.
